He pulled open a box and brought a big rat out of it. Gerald pulled a cylinder which had a long hose with a pointed tip close to the chair and opened the gas. Richard placed the rodent on my belly and covered it with the steel bucket. The pump ignited and the blue and red angry flame was connected to the steel bucket. The bucket became very hot and I felt like the rodent would claw my stomach open with it's fingers. The frantic scratching, the bites and the heat was unbearable. "Are you ready to talk now??" he asked again.

“Protein bars. Chips,Oreos. And anything else that looks good.” The driver raised his hand briefly, acknowledging, and went inside. Lilith watched him disappear before she turned back to the phone. “I haven’t started yet,” she said, keeping her tone steady. There was a quiet beat before he spoke again. “Do you think I’m messing around or do I have to teach you a lesson first?” Billy asked. Lilith didn’t hesitate. “No. I just only now got access to a lab. I’m on my way there.”

The sight sickened me worse than I thought it would have. Getting up, I went to retrieve a syringe and something to pin the rat down with. Once it was pinned and secured, it didn’t seem bothered by it, just continued to lay there, and lick its paws.
