Lake Lanier Curse Novels & Stories

"If I found them?" "Why would they?" Thane laughs that rasping laugh again. "The curse is their revenge. They've waited three hundred years to see it fulfilled." Lucian's hands clench into fists. Rage burns in his chest. His ancestors' mistakes, and he pays the price. His mother's bloodline, but she escapes the curse. It's not fair. The rage pulses. Hot. Fierce. In the mirror, something flickers. Lucian leans closer. His reflection stares back. But for just a moment, the eyes looked different. Not silver.

“What do you know about the curse?” Lyall laughed, “I get all the hard questions….From what I have been told by family members long ago one of my ancestors made a deal with a witch to help them get pregnant. In doing this the whole family line was cursed that they wouldn’t be able to find their mates when they turned of age. A lot of us have gone mad but others just get sad and keep to themselves. I’m unfortunately one of those who have gone mad. I’m not proud of it. I don’t like being this way. I used to be loving and caring to everyone.” He looked so hurt and broken as he spoke. I could tell he wanted to change. That made me want to help him even more.

"Took care of them how?" "One died in what looked like a hunting accident. The other disappeared entirely, presumed dead, and it’s believed he was Zane’s father. But Derek found evidence that Melvanie orchestrated both deaths using dark magic." Landon's jaw clenches. "In exchange, she got to place a curse on Garrick's bloodline, one that would eventually create the perfect vessel for her collection." "Me," I say flatly. "You. And any future heirs." Landon's eyes are full of sympathy. "The curse was designed to weaken you over time, Reign, make you desperate enough to seek out someone from the Moon Goddess bloodline. Someone like Sonya."

“He can’t be gone!” Zade ran back in, his face ashen. “What’s happening? Is he…?” The priest looked up, tears in her eyes. “He gave it all to keep her alive.” Zade staggered, grabbing the wall. “No… Lanvin…” Dorian stood, his fists clenched. “We were too late. Leina’s curse won.” The healers moved quickly, lifting Zuleika and Lanvin onto stretchers. “To the infirmary,” the priest ordered. “Now!”

Said it was tradition. I was five. Lira didn’t cry but I did. That night, we ran. That night, we became shadows. And they never stopped hunting us, not just because of what we were, but what we might become. Two years ago, an entire noble Lycan family was wiped out. No survivors but A message left in blood: We are the cursed daughters. We do not forget. They think it was me. But I know better, this was lira’s doing. I came to the Lycan capital to find Lira before they do. But Instead, I walked into Jack’s trap like a lamb to slaughter.

Chaos erupted in the live stream chat as a ghost hunter dropped a bombshell. [This is like some ancient curse, right out of the past. How is it popping up today?] He laid out the lore for us. [This curse, right? It's old news, like three thousand years old. Razcland was this tiny place, tucked away in the mountains. They were chilling until these invaders rocked up, trying to smoke them out with a big ol' fire.] [However, here's the twist: the attackers started bursting into flames themselves, totally out of the blue, leaving nothing behind. That's the dark magic the old books talk about!]

“Your son won’t die.” My knees buckled slightly from the relief, and I caught myself on the edge of the table. Lyon Junior was cradled in Nana’s arms now, still breathing, still alive. Thank the goddess. “He’s strong,” the seer went on. “Stronger than most cubs I’ve seen. But…” She let the word hang like smoke in the air. “…there’s bad news.” Of course there was. “In all my lifetimes,” she said slowly, “I’ve never seen this happen. The curse was supposed to take him before his first birthday. But because of what you did…” She nodded at me. “He lived.”

Her brow furrowed in concentration; her mind fully immersed in the ancient words that danced across the page. "The curse, cast by Selene's hand," Lucy's voice trembled, as if she herself could feel the weight of that fateful moment, "bound The Lycan Lord to an eternal struggle, cast to the underworld awaiting someone to summon him." The words hung in the air, laden with the weight of an unending torment that echoed through the ages. The thought of such suffering, of being eternally ensnared in the clutches of despair, stirred an ache deep within my chest.

she asks. “I don’t know,” I reply and rub my burning throat. “A lot.” “I couldn’t find much about Cambion illnesses in my books,” she says. I lean over to look between the two front seats at a box of books at Lucille’s feet. “The only time you get sick is when you deplete your energy…or you’re cursed. Have you been cursed?” “How would I know if someone cursed me?” Monty and Lucille exchange a glance I don’t much care for. “There is a chance you won't,” Lucille says.

That gave an extra point to my plan which encouraged witches to joined me. Back to Milany and the time when she sent me to spread some fave news about her. Well, one of those fake news was about the lake. We made everyone believe that the only way to resurrect the dark luna is by sacrificing the cursed luna in the lake where her sister's body lays. The thing was that it was all sort of lies, the way to resurrect Milany was by killing Stephany only after that she collected the none marks, no need to the lake or anything like that.
