Thomas sneered. “I’m not coming with you, Thomas. Never. Tell my father I’m never coming back.” She took Hakeem’s hand and turned around to leave… when she heard the words. “Shoot the kaffir.” It was too late. She didn’t think, she just did. She used her body as a shield. One. two. Three. She gasped, counting the shots as they impaled her. She stopped counting after the third one. Rose fell to the floor, her eyes ironically leveled with the flowers Hakeem had been planting a few minutes ago. She’d never felt pain so intense, so enveloping. She heard scrambling and distant shouts.

She yelled and chuckled loudly. “ Oh my freaking gawd!.” I screamed too, faking it all so she wouldn’t find out. “ Hmm hmm! I did it girl. I am told you I was so gonna get you your man.” She said in a fake British accent and I almost snapped at her. Sounded more like “ I told you I’m gonna get your man” to me. “ I knew you could do it girl!.” I responded. “ Yep! Just get dressed cause we are coming to pick up by Seven. The movie starts by Eight.” She informed.

Stupid Justin having Physics last period, so I have to wait for him. I’d already sat down with the guys, joking around and just being ourselves when shit hit the fan. Lance did the one thing you don’t do, least of all in front of a Frost. I winced as he pinched a girl’s ass. I winced harder as I looked at the girl and quickly realized this was the new girl. The one Frost from English said touching would cause a funeral. “Oh, he’s fucked.” I muttered as the other guys went wide-eyed at the anger in Frost’s eyes as he slammed Lance to our table.

Chapter nine Anabelle’s Pov It was as if time was told to seize, I was getting more frozen but it wasn't over. My face was pale from the heat, I heard it's over when the full moon disappears. Which would only happen after eighteen hours. “Please I can't stay here longer, how many minutes is left?!” I shouted, my throat tightened. “It's eight more minutes, Ma,” the leader said. “Please open the door, I can't do this.” I said weakly.

Then everything froze. Literally. Ice exploded through the corridor. Walls. Floor. Ceiling. Everything. The temperature plummeted. The rogues stopped moving. Unable to breathe. Unable to think. Unable to escape. A terrifying silence followed. Then— A voice. Cold. Deadly. Familiar. “Touch her again.” The words echoed like a death sentence. The rogues slowly turned. And immediately regretted it. Froz White Fang stood at the end of the corridor. Blue eyes glowing.

I sighed handing the phone over to dad. “I know you wanted to see who she was son, but the good news is, this was hardcore evidence capturing what Lucy did. Because of this video she will be sentenced to a long time in prison, I’ll make sure of it,” Dad sighed taking a seat at the foot of my bed, “she will come out you know, your Justin Star, America’s superstar heartthrob, it’s just a matter of time.” I hummed, “of course she will, just peaked my curiosity why she would run,”

She walked in with a wary look that lasted all of five seconds before Rhea handed her a faux fur coat and Lena shoved a champagne flute in her hand. “You’ll thank us later,” Talia said. “I’m already concerned,” Odessa murmured. We spilled out into the snowy night, sliding into a sleek black limousine waiting at the curb. The driver tipped his cap, and someone in the back hit play on the music player that somehow also made the seats vibrate to the beat. The city lights of Frostvale sparkled ahead like diamonds scattered across the snow. Magic flickered in the lampposts, and snowflakes danced in the air as if pulled by strings.
