I listened to the sound of his footsteps and noted the particular rhythm of his breathing when he was angry versus when he was thinking versus when he was trying not to show that something had frightened him. ] Stanley typed out a carefully crafted long message on second thought. [Every day.] The arrogant man finally replied. The straightforward answer was shocking. Stanley was taken aback. His lips twitched subconsciously. Every day?! Larry was amazing. It seemed like he really did have the woman under control. [Why do I feel like you're boasting?] Simultaneously, Jerry who was currently laying on Queen's bed had trouble sleeping as well. He blamed the world for being unfair upon reading Larry's texts. How could Larry cuddle his woman to sleep every night whereas he had to suffer from loneliness?

AUDREY (softly): “Okay… give me thirty minutes.” LARRY (grinning): “That’s my girl.” He hung up and tossed the phone on the couch, his grin widening. “Works every time.” As he poured himself another drink, Larry spoke out loud to no one in particular, relishing the villainous monologue he’d reserved in the recesses of his ego. “Let the two women scramble, point fingers, and defend themselves while I take center stage. They can waste their energy throwing stones at each other while I stand untouched.”

I've only gotten along with Troy and the one amazing friend who will remain nameless but known for stabbing my back. "Damn, you have no idea how that Sierra girl is so bangable! She's so sexy last night." My ears throbbed when I heard Larry; he's a baseball player, and he stated it as his group of friends passed me. My brows furrowed in response to the repulsive words he spoke. "Yeah, someday I will get my hands off her clothes." His friend replied, and all of them laughed in agreement with his remarks.

His lips moved, and he spoke hoarsely, "Ms. Hall, I broke it. While I was cleaning in there today, I accidentally dropped it. I know the stuff in there is valuable, and I... I got scared, so I didn't dare to say anything." Bowing toward Stella and the others, he whispered, "I'm sorry." Stella frowned, her tone stern. "The company has cleaners, so why would you be cleaning?" Larry hung his head, afraid to meet her eyes. "I applied for the job with the company. I could earn thirty an hour. I wanted to make some extra money to get my son a cochlear implant..." Stella's expression darkened. The reason Larry gave left her unable to even get angry.

“I was so scared, Alex. I thought you murdered her.” “I didn't.” He smiled. “I guess you don't have a clue about who your husband really is.” Larry said, walking in through the door, staggering in the process. He doesn't look like himself. I shook my head. “Dramatic?” Alex glared at him. “Do not start.” He warned, but Larry continued. Larry looked at me. Killing humans is no big deal to him. He bathed in the blood of humans. He was known as a beast who feeds only the flesh and blood of his prey.”

“Larry’s opinion stopped mattering the moment he proved he was capable of putting my brother in a coma.” My hand balled into a fist. "Funny. Because from where I’m standing, Larry’s thriving. Building. Expanding. And you? You’re here playing dress-up. Like a little girl wobbling in heels two sizes too big.” They struck me hard, but I chose my anger careful... cold, exact, and dangerous. “Thriving you say? Or did you mean fucking his best friend’s widow and getting her pregnant before a year even passed? That sounds less like thriving and more like the whore-and-the-dick kind of story.”

"Yes, your face looks dry. Is your man not satisfying you well? Do you want me to help with that?" "You, rascal!" "My name is not a rascal, you forget, my name is Larry." Larry pursed his lips and smiled as a shy Stella ran away with her head down. Such a woman won't submit to your intimidation; instead, she'll fight back until she either defeats you or you defeat her. So Larry told himself that he must conquer Stella. "What are you looking at?" Alex tapped Larry's shoulder. "Looking at Stella." Larry didn't hide it: "Are you done eating?"

“Let’s get to that part. If I recall correctly, this was your party fantasy, right?” I smile. “Let’s just say they accomplished what I had in mind.” Kamila gasps. “Aren’t you just... kissing and telling? Oh my God, hell has frozen over, Sar! I think Laury is already head over heels in love.” The word makes me shudder and they laugh even louder. "Don't make her close her throat," Sarah jokes. "You know she's allergic to that word." "I think she'll change her mind," Kamila says. "Or two men will convince her."

Jordyn’s POV Larry paused after the first few words of the letter. We all sat in stunned silence. To say that wasn’t the intro we were expecting from Howard’s letter was an understatement. The devil? Living in hell? I was shocked to hear Stanley describe his daughter like that. I’m sure everyone was. But none of us dared say a word, not after Larry’s stark warning that if we did, he’d have us removed immediately. Even so, those first few lines set the tone for what was clearly going to be letters full of surprises.
