"Even though he's a cheating bastard, I share the same room with my husband. Yes I'm traditional.''
She turned to walk out when I stopped her.
"Which do you prefer?" I asked as Pablo finished dressing me up.
Lucy turned over to give me a real look, assessing the gown, her gaze travelling over it's features, appreciating it.
"The red one is perfect." She answered. "Wear that one."
And then she walked away, quietly. Thank God.
Gabrielle stood up from the bed and inspected the room in her usual slow, classy and stylish manner that usually pissed the hell out of me. But this time around, it didn't, because of the gratitude I felt for her cover-up earlier.
