Like I was a baby goat he was about to slaughter. His eyes were wide, unblinking and glassy with something deranged and hungry. It scared me more than the blood-crusted saw gripped tight in his other hand, its teeth glinting under the harsh fluorescent light. “Please… please… I’m sorry… I’m not—” The words tumbled out, frantic, but they were cut off when he threw his head back and laughed. It was a wet, tearing sound that ricocheted off the walls, filled the room, drowned everything else. He laughed so hard he doubled over, clutching his stomach, the sound manic and unhinged like the Joker tormenting Harley Quinn, except this wasn’t a performance.

“How hard can it be?” Just as I’m about to have a stroke, he breaks into a huge grin. “I’m kidding. Of course I’ve parachuted before.” I hit him several times on the chest with my fists. “STOP – DOING – THAT!” He laughs. “What?” “Bullshitting every time someone asks you a question!” “You ever heard the expression, ‘Laugh to keep from crying’?” “Yeah, so?” “So I can either joke around and keep it light, or I can be serious and we can all be miserable and afraid and then panic and lose focus and die. Which is it gonna be?”

Seeing the look of shock on Nicholas's and the shaman’s faces, I spoke slowly. “Mr. Wells, you have done so much for your brother, but do you truly know what kind of person that brilliant brother of yours, Joseph Wells, really was?” Nicholas’s expression darkened instantly. “What do you mean?” “Nothing much.” I straightened my collar. “I just think it’s rather pathetic to lose your mind over someone who isn’t worth it.” Before he could respond, I turned and walked away.

He frantically closed his phone and set it face down. He stared at her amber eyes. No warmth, just indifference and exhaustion. Then she starts laughing. Full-blown maniacal laughter that even the Joker will say she’s lost her damn mind. She wiped the tear that formed in the corner of her eye, “You… You already saw the proof that I’m innocent, and you have the audacity to speak to me like that.” She expressed with an ear-to-ear grin that didn’t convey happiness. “I don’t even know who you are right now.”

I replied and laughed softly at my dirty jokes. "Did he do it? Who is the better fucker, the father or the son?" Luciano asked, I acted like I'm thinking about his question. "Of course you are the better and the best fucker. Zuck still needs a little practice, you should train him to be beast in bed." I replied and could not stop myself from laughing. I heard Luciano laugh too because of the antics I was telling him. Until now, it still surprised me and makes me happy in a strange way every time I make Luciano laugh or I see him laughing at some stupid jokes because I often see him laughing.

Jane, who wanted to stifle her laughter, wasn't able to hold it. “Ahh, Jenkins, you look like a comic flour-covered statue.” Her laughter became even louder, and her body shook from laughing. Jane was standing by the kitchen counter, her palm covering her mouth as she laughed out loud. She tried controlling herself, but she couldn’t. He’s crazy and it’s pointless trying to have a normal conversation with him.

The masked man pointed at me off-screen and snarled, “Listen! Don’t even think of calling the police! “If you want your boyfriend back, come here alone with 50 million dollars as ransom! “Once you land at Melvaris, I’ll send you the location.” I laughed as I watched Jason lying on the floor in the video. With a look of disgust, I said, “Hmm… look at the state of him after being tortured. I don’t want him anymore. Do whatever you want with him.” “What did you say? You don’t want him?” The masked man raised the electric baton and slammed it down on Jason’s leg again. Jason screamed and writhed on the floor in pain.

The dark humor was so perfectly Jaxx that I couldn't help but laugh. I burst out laughing, the sound bright against the lingering tension in the room. The absurdity of his grim humor never failed to catch me off guard, to remind me that beneath the violence and the control, there was a man who made me laugh in the darkest moments. Jaxx just shrugged, completely unbothered by his own dark wit, though a small smile played at his lips, softening the hard lines of his face.

When suddenly, a burst of laughter was heard. "!?" Everyone turned to where the loud laughter was coming from. They saw a man on top of a relatively large rock as if tickled by a thousand hands. None other than Jin, the king of annoying laughter. "Felix .... hahaha ... a bodyguard .... hahaha .... what a joke! Hahaha! hahaha! hahaha........... ! " Even Felix was disgusted with Jin's laughter. Ever since he became Supreme Grandboss no one dare to laughed at him like Jin does. But there was nothing he could do, he knew Jin for being naughty for a long time.
