WRITER'S POV If anyone had told Laura there would come a time she'd panic because of another woman, she'd have laughed about it. Ever since the brawl with Clara, she'd gone almost paranoid. She would not eat without a maid tasting her food or drink first. Even water. Laura was a strong woman and she knew it; physically and mentally. In fact she believed it was because of her strong willed nature that made her escape Derrick and the marriage she never wanted. Same strong will nature that brought her back at the right moment to claim what was hers. But she didn't understand anymore. She'd missed out something very crucial which was now hunting her. Why did Dante not mention this to her?

Laura thought, could it be because she drank too much brandy that she got confused? Laura looked over at Kayler; she grinned mischievously and approached him. She had only taken a few steps when she smelled a strange smell of pheromones invading the room. Her eyes turned burgundy; she was certain that a stranger was there. Laura thought the purpose of these people could only be to save Kayler or target her. He's no longer worth Laura's use anyway, so she will kill him directly to lure the guys here to the face.

“I´m not worried about it.” I look at Barry. Is he the one who has the Vampire Dagger? “Barry, I--” I want to explain to him that my memories have returned, that I recollect glimpses of what occurred the night he found me. “What is it, Rose?” It´s now or never. “Call me, Laura, from this point forward. That is my real name. Barry, I have my memories back.” Barry gives me a warry look. “You do?” “Yes, and there are things that make no sense to me.”

Amara battled a mix of emotions—fear, worry, and helplessness. She considered reaching out to Alpha Damon through their mind link but held back. He needed to remain focused, and she didn't want to distract him during such a critical time. Hours passed, and a soft knock broke the quiet. Amara gestured for the visitor to enter, and the door opened to reveal Laura. “You didn't come down for dinner,” Laura remarked gently. Amara offered her a weak smile. “I got carried away. Sorry about that,” she replied. “Do you want me to bring something up for you?” Laura asked.

“Adora, I’m so grateful to you and Louis. You saved me again last night.” Adora’s mood dipped. “Don’t say that. If it weren’t for me, Ruby wouldn’t have come after you. You were dragged into this because of me.” “That’s not it. I was so drunk last night, no matter who I ran into, it wouldn’t have ended well. It’s not your fault.” Laura wasn’t some naive girl. After years of studying law, she was well aware of how dark people could be and how dirty the world really was. There were good people out there, but not everyone had the luck to meet them.

His eyes widened, disbelief vividly etched on his handsome features. "Indeed, Arthur," she confirmed, her voice cold and resolute. "I am Lyra Elendyl, daughter of the High Fae Lord, and I know your secrets." A murmur rippled through the crowd, like a breeze rustling through a field of tall grass. Guests whispered among themselves, their faces a mixture of shock and fascination. Some regarded Lyra with newfound respect, while others seemed to shrink away from her, as though fearing retribution for their unwitting association with Arthur.

"It's some stupid children's book, but I need it." Indianna blinked and she looked at Laura with wide eyes. "A children's book?" "That's what I said," Lily nodded. "Do you know of any children's books about the Royals?" "We do, actually," Indianna said. "Laura gave it to me as a present," she rubbed her stomach, "for them." "I need it," Lily said immediately. "I've been researching something and I think the book is the key." "Researching what?" Indianna asked.

Laura gave me a persistent look. I admire Laura's bravery a lot but even one million of her can't stop me from getting my revenge on Clyde. She is some toddler and my prey. “ You're a strong woman, Laura. You even betrayed your friend and took her husband, and now you want the only man in her life, also? And what made you believe I will leave a beautiful, smart, and intelligent woman like Everleigh to build a life with you? Are you this gullible?" My words were taunting but Laura remained unfazed.

" Laura hissed, glancing toward the woman who had brought them here. "You knew! You knew she was coming. You were working for her!" ​Selene remained still, her gaze fixed on the codex. Her mask of indifference had cracked, revealing a flicker of deep, gnawing regret. "I am no one's servant, Laura. I needed the door to open just as much as she did. But I didn't want the world to burn." ​Before Catherine could touch the book, Laura lunged. She didn't go for Catherine; she went for the pedestal.

It was dark and dingy. The smell of rotten bodies was heavy in the air. The sounds of dirty and running rats filled the dungeon. Laura was huddled in a corner, shivering due to the harsh cold. "What have I done?" She asked herself, shivering. Tears streamed down her eyes uncontrollably and at this point, she knew she wasn't going to come out of the problem she was into. She tried to think deeply about what had gone wrong in the kitchen but she couldn't pinpoint anything wrong.
