My Ex-husband; Regrets Putting Me In Jail

My Ex-husband; Regrets Putting Me In Jail

Different emotions raced through me, from anger to disappointment to heartbreak to sadness. After all these years… after all my suffering… after the bullying and abuse I endured in that prison… I came out to meet this. “You son of a…” I half screamed as a tear almost fell down my face. “You must be joking.” I hissed. A strange look passed Liam’s features before he replied. “I am not joking. I am serious, Charlotte. And you owe her this. We both know you stole her life for 22 years or even more. She wouldn’t have suffered and gotten prone to all kinds of infection if she lived with her real parents and not that trash nanny and shack she grew up in.”

You Taste Like Trouble To Me...

You Taste Like Trouble To Me...

“You get some sleep, alright?” Charlotte nodded, though he couldn’t see it because David’s back was now to her. She watched as he let himself out and waited until she could see his headlights pulling away from the apartment by the living room window. Certain that the Doctor wasn’t about to change his mind and come back, she locked the door before curling back on the couch. His scent had somehow managed to bleed into the cushions and was now filling Lotte’s nose with peppermint and dark coffee. The combination was mouthwatering… erotic… painful. Burying her face into the couch's surface, Charlotte hummed to herself and folded her arms around her chest.

An Unexpected Marriage with my Disabled Husband

An Unexpected Marriage with my Disabled Husband

"Let's go." As Dylan guided Eleanor out of the room, I turned back to Charlotte, her face crumpled with sadness as she leaned into me, her tears falling as she let herself be led upstairs to her bedroom. I closed the door behind us, my own emotions swirling as I tried to make sense of what had happened. "I really should do something about Eleanor ," I said, my voice soft and gentle as I brushed a stray strand of hair from Charlotte's face. "She shouldn't have tried to turn this into something about herself."

Is Life A Single Player Experience?

Is Life A Single Player Experience?

But seriously, what a dramatic change of genres! Charlotte, on the other hand, leaves it at that, and, without showing any interest in me whatsoever, opens her paperback again. I hear the soft slide of the turning page. Once I take a quick glimpse at what she's been reading, it appears to be: Crime And Punishment. In one word: Intense..

Claimed By The Vampire King

Claimed By The Vampire King

“Do you remember when we were in the university and I couldn’t step past the doorway or how I would become crippled with fear each time a boy spoke to me? You used to call me a coward and a slave to my fears. You reminded me that brother Mordechai was now in jail and punished for his crimes and there was no need to punish myself for something he did? You made me go to the therapist and even went on dates with me so I could feel safe.” Yes, I knew all that. Charlotte’s family was very conservative and very religious. Her parents had sent her to the convent at a young age. There she was raised by the nuns in a boarding school. The plan for her life was that when she grew older, she would take

Young Bride in a Lightning Marriage: Never Tired of Mr. Leon’s Love

Young Bride in a Lightning Marriage: Never Tired of Mr. Leon’s Love

Charlotte stood in the courtyard, the cold wind blowing her clothes into disarray, her hair flying wildly. The trees had already lost all their leaves, giving the scene a pitiful look. Charlotte released the bird and held onto the note in her hand, slowly reading it before burning it and smiling smugly. Her delicate face, deep-set eyes, and prominent nose made it hard to believe that she was such a ruthless person. The note read: [We’ve already found Lucy Quinn’s weakness. Next time, just make your move. There’s no need to worry.]

I Forgot Myself

I Forgot Myself

Charlotte went downstairs while I headed to the shower. I took a shower, then found my clothes on the bed like yesterday and my name was still Steve the book store manager even today. A few minutes later, I joined Charlotte downstairs. Both my breakfast and lunch box were ready. I pulled the chair as Charlotte fixed a tie; I was pretty bad at tying a tie. She then sat on the chair besides me. I took a bite on the mouthwatering bacon that Charlotte prepared for me once again. The name that I saw in her laptop hit my mind at that moment. “Babe, do you have an ex-boyfriend called Kat?” I asked. To my surprise, Charlotte’s eyes got big but this time in was fear that consumed her face.

The Charmer

The Charmer

The first book she’d read had barely mentioned charmers, but this one seemed more promising. Hours later, she closed the book and set it on her nightstand. The trouble with reading a no-holds-barred version of history was that unflattering views of one’s self or people were often printed. She had to admit, humans did not look good from a Haunt perspective.

A very good story. I loved its uniqueness and it's richness. The world you created was vast, imaginative, and the Adventure was exciting, heart warming, and often funny. The characters had depth, flaws, and they always kept me guessing. I loved it. I can't wait to read the sequals.

This would probably be one of my favorite novels in this platform. Beautifully written chapters, and a very well-made plot. You can't help but be enchanted by the characters of the book as well. I had fun reading it up to the end.
