Her dark hair fell softly around her shoulders. Her eyes looked red. As if she had been crying. The interviewer leaned forward gently. “Laura, rumors have circulated suggesting you may have been involved with Dominic Sterling. What would you like to say about that?” Laura shook her head sadly. “Those rumors are completely false.” Emma stared at the screen. Laura’s voice trembled slightly.

Laura replied, momentarily breaking Vika's contemplation. "Vika!" Vika responded to Laura's handshake, looking at the young woman before her. She appeared to be surprised that Aryan was already married, and that Aryan's choice of wife was far from what she had expected. Laura seemed modest and youthful, with a tall, slim figure and rosy cheeks. Her sun-kissed skin accentuated her inner beauty. Suddenly, a pang of envy struck Vika as she observed Aryan's eyes brimming with affection for Laura. Had Aryan already forgotten their past love? "Laura," Laura replied, her words snapping Vika out of her reverie.
