Laurence was surprised for only a moment before he responded, her lips salty from the tears that fell from her eyes. “Yes.” Laurence grinned at her quick whisper and lifted her onto the table, his arm sliding around her waist and holding her to him. It reminded her of his demeanor when he caught sight of her and Stefan interacting at the gala event. A nudge from Laurie made him tear his eyes off Olivia. "Sweetie?" She pouted, and raised her hand. When he turned to Laurie, he heard the click of her phone. He turned to the phone in surprise. Another click. She had succeeded in taking two pictures of him. Despite the fact that he was not a fan of pictures, his lips twitched. Laurie was really playing her role well, even though she didn't know that she had a role to play.

"Mauri, I need to go back to Japan and search for Toru," Laurence said as he took in a deep breath like he was facing his fears. He stood up and looked towards me. "Don't run off." He hissed through his teeth before grabbing ahold of Mauri and let her take him back. Colsin glanced towards where they had been then looked towards the girl. "So her human body is dying and being changed into a vampire?" He asked me, looking towards me innocently.

She looked at Jamira. “This is my daughter Layla, right?” Jamira looked seriously, and said yes.
