Laurence was surprised for only a moment before he responded, her lips salty from the tears that fell from her eyes. “Yes.” Laurence grinned at her quick whisper and lifted her onto the table, his arm sliding around her waist and holding her to him. Without restraint, Laurence devoured his mate, his kiss a promise of what was to come.

Laurence yelled out as he approached the entrance of his room, hastily opening his door, which revealed a dazzling woman. I rubbed my eyes in order to clearly see who it was, only to find out that it was the leader of the opposing pack, Lady Montereal. She was almost identical to me, and the only feature that made us dissimilar from one another was the color of her hair; I had natural silver hair, while she only had plain black hair. If Lady Montereal really was Laurence's fated mate… Then does this mean that my joyous moments here with Laurence will come to an end?

She looked at Jamira. “This is my daughter Layla, right?” Jamira looked seriously, and said yes. Lucifer got up from his seat, and walked to the woman. “Lilith, she’s been in the human world all this time. She probably doesn't know that she can breathe or not breathe and be fine.” He wrapped his arms around her, putting one hand right above her breast. He kissed her with a passion I had no clue could exist.

After hearing what he said, she asked Serenity, “Does Mrs. Johnson plan to train Laurence as a doctor? Even so, there’s no need to force him to copy medical books at the age of three or four, right?” Serenity brought Sonny and Laurence to Westwood Manor, only introducing Laurence as a child fostered by Jane and did not clarify that he was also Dr. Carden’s apprentice. When she heard Corey, Serenity explained, “Laurence is Dr. Carden’s disciple, the one who helped treat Camryn’s eyes.” Corey suddenly realized.
