The Fathers of My Child?

The Fathers of My Child?

Something that feels like her. The shelves here are uneven, leaning with age, lined with books whose covers are frayed at the edges. My shoes sound too loud on the wooden floor. There’s an elderly man at the counter with her head bent over a crossword puzzle. He looks up once when I enter, nods, and goes back to scribbling in his paper. I trail my fingers along the spines, half-reading faded titles, not sure what I’m looking for until I see it—thin, burgundy cover, gold letters still faintly visible. Leaves and Shadows.

Lily's Secret

Lily's Secret

Lily My sight became blurry as soon as they injected the transparent liquid to me. The next thing I knew I was in a dark place. Everything was dark. I am lost. I stayed there for like eternity. Then I saw a light, far from where I am standing. I tried to chase it but my steps became heavier every step I took then I couldn't move. I closed my eyes. Just like what my daddy taught me when I feel fear, just close your eyes and breathe. And I did that.

Anne and the Hidden world

Anne and the Hidden world

After a brief scolding from my teacher, I was sent to assist the librarian. The library was a sanctuary of towering shelves and soft whispers, its grandeur unexpectedly breathtaking. The scent of aged books and polished wood wrapped around me like a comforting cloak. Wandering through the aisles, I stumbled upon a dimly lit corner that exuded an eerie presence. A single book stood out—its cover blank and edges charred. Curious, I picked it up. "Weird," I muttered, flipping through its brittle pages. My blood ran cold when I saw my name inscribed on the last page.

Marked by a Lycan

Marked by a Lycan

Lost in contemplation, a sudden gust of wind whipped through the library, rustling the pages of the book I held in my hands. I looked up, puzzled, searching for the source of this unexplained force. The wind danced and twirled, a mischievous sprite teasing the edges of my curiosity.

Blue Eyes Alpha (English)

Blue Eyes Alpha (English)

But when I was about to put the book back on the shelf, my hand gripped the book tighter. "Oh, Moon Goddess," cried Eliz, stepping back to avoid me. A blue light flashed out of the book, and suddenly the wind was fast enough to open all the sheets of the book before my eyes. I felt my iris come to light when I saw the book in my hand. There are so many whispers that I hear, and they seem to be scrambling to know me. Some of them whispered while singing familiar melodies to my ears.

The Lycan’s Fated Mate

The Lycan’s Fated Mate

The leaves were thin, long, a blue so dark they looked black at first glance. Under the moonlight filtered through the glass — a moon that wasn’t the same one outside —, a purplish and greenish glow slowly traveled along each vein. It was like watching stars trapped inside the leaves. Alexei held his breath, his heart hammering against his ribs. “Lunaria Tenebris…” Lyra knelt in front of them. She didn’t touch them immediately; first she tilted her head, like someone greeting old friends. Then she spoke softly, her voice so gentle it almost blended with the whisper of the wind between the leaves.

The Alpha King's Chosen

The Alpha King's Chosen

No training left me with way too much time and nothing to fill it with. So, I wandered over to the library. It was quiet—almost empty. I wandered between the shelves, reading book titles, but honestly not taking any of it in. Eventually, I grabbed a book about plants, took it to a chair, and flipped it open. Inside, there were drawings of herbs and flowers. I turned the pages slow, not thinking about Leah’s letter or my family or anything hard. Just the pictures, and that was enough. After a while, I heard footsteps. Lucian appeared around the corner.

Bound by Crystals and Shadows

Bound by Crystals and Shadows

Without realizing it, my feet carried me toward them, drawn by a quiet curiosity that settled deep in my chest. As I moved closer, I noticed how the vines had woven themselves into the shelves, their roots curling around certain books as though claiming them. Some volumes were partially hidden beneath leaves and stems, while others remained untouched, their titles clearly visible. I reached out slowly, my fingers brushing along the spines as I read them one by one, trying to make sense of why a place like this would hold so much knowledge. It seemed almost out of place at first, but the more I thought about it, the more it began to make sense.

The Luna He Gave Away

The Luna He Gave Away

She moved a book on her shelf without thinking about it, just restless, and the flower fell out from behind it. Small. Pressed flat. Pale yellow. The kind that grew along the garden path at home. Lyra used to leave them everywhere when they were children. Inside books. On windowsills. Tucked into the folds of a coat pocket. She never explained why. She just left them. Elara had forgotten about it completely. She sat on the edge of her bed and held it. She had spent the entire afternoon protecting her sister without planning to. It had come out of her before she decided to let it. Like something that had always been there, waiting under everything else she had chosen.

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

Whoever tore the pages of the book, did it very carefully… in fact, they did it so cleanly that Levy would’ve never found what was wrong with the book unless she carefully skimmed through each page. She hurriedly threw the book aside and then opened another —— “ From this too …” One after another she looked through each book and sure enough out of ten books seven of them had missing pages and the same thing could be said about the notebooks that had pages torn through them. Having skimmed through everything Levy felt the last notebook slip out of her hands as she stumbled and almost fell back on the chair behind her ….the pages were torn from the books meaning someone wanted to stop her from

it's a great book so far and I can't wait to see how it ends. There are some grammar corrections that need to be made but they are not to where you can't understand the book. the book is quite long and it's the second longest book that I've read. I was disappointed that a couple of chapters are

I really liked the start of the book but started flipping through chapters and there’s a lot of filler chapters saying the same thing and honestly 700 chapters is way too much..the story line is good but waiting for something to happen made me move on to a different story
