The Last Leaf of Devotion

The Last Leaf of Devotion

"I love that one too. Maple leaves shine their brightest in autumn. It reminds me of the first time I saw you at school. "I'll make it the centerpiece of our 100-Year Anniversary Collection. But it won't be for sale. It will belong to you alone." Odessa wrapped her arms around him, looking up with a teasing pout. "You'd better mean it. If you don't, I'll leave you forever." "I swear on my life!"

The Last Shadow Witch

"You guys okay?" "We will be, go," Leaf smiled and winked at me. "Thanks, guys," "Love you!" Leaf shrieked. I chuckled. I stood up and ran deeper into the aisle. The heels of my boots clacked against the wooden floor. Books were floating in the air. I looked at the shelves, the books were neatly arranged in alphabetical order. I saw a book, a beautiful blue book with white Italian writing, 'NAMES'. I had the urge to touch it, so I reached forward for it.

Awakening - Following Fate

Awakening - Following Fate

I can’t help but wonder if this is relevant. “So tell us what the book looks like and we look.” Meadow interrupts my moment of reverie, on her feet and ready to do something more than sitting here and I nod in agreement. Sliding up from my own chair to get busy. “It’s green, large like this one, with a dark vine wrapped around to keep it shut. Leyanne is a witch of nature so it suits. It’s where I learned the spell and I know it’s here. No one ever removes the books, not that they can. The stairwell won’t let a book pass upwards so it will be here wherever I left it.”

The Rogues Who Went Rogue

The Rogues Who Went Rogue

The long-shaped rocks with sharp tips could be a carving tool, and the oval-shaped ones could be used as paperweights. There was only one book, and he opened it without thought. In between flipping the pages, a dried-up, slender leaf fell out. He picked it up from the floor, and noticed there was writing on it. He held it against the little light he got from the dim place, and muttered the word under his breath, “Ella.”

This bookie was as good as the first. I took a break from reading while dealing with my father’s passing so I love that even though there are sad parts, this book and your other Lucianne Paw book I have read so far. I can’t wait to get through the next and look forward to the last 3 books as well.

Loved all books so far!! I'm under the impression that (Chri-)Stina (?!) will surprise us further in the future! I would appreciate a relpy concerning whether she has ties with hellenic culture, since she is using lots of hellenic names in a specific story. Book #4 was a nice surprise for me!

Fated to The Northlord

Fated to The Northlord

Leo's voice was distant I didn't realize how far I had walked I turned and headed back loosing the large book as it took a slow turn at the end of the farthest shelf there were only 3 books next to my bag and a note pad with a sleek silver pen that appeared too "let me guess I cant take any of these books out with me?" Leo didn't open his eyes to look at me but he nodded "If you want to live, I wouldn't try it" He wiggled his hand with his pointer finger at me back and forth

His Omega

His Omega

He hesitated to ask Leah for help, and his pride prevented him from talking to her even more. Leah took the needle to create a wound on her finger. She squeezed her finger, and when she saw blood coming out into her finger, she touched the book. The book glowed, and the leaf logo brightened too. She opened the book for Lycan Hector, and she let him see the last page of the book. It was Lycan Hector whom Richelle drew. Lycan Hector was too busy reading a book while sitting comfortably at the tree. She was surprised when she saw this; she didn't know that Richelle had this talent. Aside from healing someone using a leaf, she could draw too.

Conceived under the moon

Conceived under the moon

Leather-bound tomes and weathered scrolls share space with delicate manuscripts adorned with intricate illustrations, each one a testament to the rich tapestry of knowledge that lies within. As sunlight filters through the canopy above, casting a soft, golden glow upon the chamber, the leaves of the tree serve as natural windows, their emerald hues shimmering with the play of light and shadow. Through these leafy windows, Theo and the Earth Goddess glimpse the ever-changing beauty of the forest outside, where sunlight dances upon the foliage and the song of birds fills the air.

Thalia's Ashen Fate

Thalia's Ashen Fate

The easy peace of the morning was already receding, replaced by practiced readiness. I summoned the book from my dimensional storage, the cool, familiar leather a welcome weight in my palm. Flipping it open to the page on the Moonless Blossom, I studied the illustration again, committing the delicate, silver-blue petals and the unique, jagged serration of its leaves to memory. A moment later, I felt the solid warmth of him seep through my tunic as he leaned over my shoulder. "I’m sure we’ll find it," he said, his voice still holding a comfortable trace of sleep.

Miracle Twins (English)

Just from that, it was obvious. As she examined each book, she suddenly stopped when she opened one about flowers. She read through it, and because it was thick, she decided to check other pages. But when she started from the back, she was startled to find a notebook-sized insert with a white floral design. It was placed right between the pages, as if the book had been hollowed out or carved to fit the notebook. “What’s this? A secret notebook?” Atasha asked in surprise because the notebook was completely unnoticeable unless you flipped through the book. She took it out, closed the book, and then opened the notebook.
