A world Leah had only entered as a costume and was now expected to survive as a role. She had learned how to resist Margaret in a foundation room. She had not learned how to be Mrs. Cole in Daniel’s world. That was different. The Grant rooms were traps built by people who needed her obedient. Daniel’s world might be worse in another way. It required competence. Leah went to the glasshouse. The seedling she had repotted the day before still leaned, but less dramatically. She touched one leaf with the tip of her finger, then pulled back before she could bruise it.

The room was thick with tension as Leanna, with a determined glint in her eyes, insisted on waiting for Russo. Her demeanor was unsettling, and I couldn't shake the feeling that something dangerous was about to unfold. Clutching a gun tightly in her hands, she motioned for me to sit quietly. "Why are you doing this?" I finally mustered the courage to ask. "What do you want?" Leanna smirked, a twisted satisfaction dancing in her eyes. "Oh, sweet Alissa, you've always been oblivious to the bigger picture. Sit tight, and maybe you'll understand."

Her eyes smoothly glide to her right, where she finds a chic blonde looking at her. Anna scans the woman—short, petite, youthful face—and finds the pile of books on her arms. Almost all are about laws. An obvious law student. Someone that belongs here. Yet, her voice was cheerful and innocent, her stare pure and kind. “Yes, actually. Do you know Yezekael Ferrer?” She straightforwardly asks, catching the woman off-guard. Anna doesn’t miss the tinge of pink creeping up the girl’s cheeks from her neck.

Still I could not understand "Why would anyone want the Alphas dead? They are strong and can defend themselves without me so how would anyone successfully out smart them? They are three and they are Lycans. Not any more Alpha can attack them." My questions were endless. I needed to connect everything with the vision I had seen. She thought it would not be good to inform Charlene that Adhler is set to be married to his chosen Luna, the current Queen of the Lycans— Laura, in a week now. “I see,” Charlene calmly replied. “Professor… did you… did you inform my fam… my family that I am with you,” Charlene asked without looking into the professor’s eyes. Ellis stared at her as Charlene stared at the ceiling above.

He must know with me back that we don’t need an alliance and I’m so angry at Willow for letting him get so involved with her. The salty air is thick and heavy. The mother, the former Luna, had a bit of a thing for Omegas. Sick, twisted shit.” I don’t usually gossip, especially about the tower wolves, but this one is too juicy, too dark, to just let it go.

"Nalia! I need you to get Leena and take her back to the castle, immediately! We have to get her to the infirmary now!" Before Lancaster can register what I've just said, Nalia appears behind him and grabs ahold of Leena and transports her out of here in the blink of an eye. I can finally concentrate on the task at hand. Lancaster turns and sees that Leena is gone and he wails his rage in a purely primal scream. "You son of a bitch! I won't rest until you're dead!" Dixon snarls at him murderously. "You won't ever live to get that chance. This ends tonight!"
