She picked up her pink bikini, eyes turning to stare at me one more time before she left, leaving me to battle the shit show she left behind. Lily didnt leave her room for the rest of the day and even though I wanted to bang on her door until she opened it and came out, I knew it was my wise. I had to leave her to herself. I had fallen asleep on the couch when I heard footsteps the next morning. Lily was dressed coporately, hair up in a bun. Her eyes met mine and for a moment I could tell she was contemplating telling me where she was going. " I'm going job hunting" she finally let out.

I stopped the first maid I saw and asked again to be sure. “Where is Lily?” I demanded. Her eyes widened. “She… she left early this morning, sir.” “Where?” I snapped. “She didn’t say, she only left a note for her mother.” My blood went cold, it was true. She hadn’t told anyone, not even me. The realization hit harder than any challenge I ever had. She had run because she believed she wasn’t wanted, because I had made her believe that. I turned back toward the window, staring out at the long road leading away from the mansion.

Suddenly, she peeled her gaze away from us before turning on her heels to leave, and just when I thought Selena was over the moon and might have forgotten her mission here, she tilted her head towards Lily, as she speaks, her sentences punctuation with an uncontrollable moan. “Where the heck – fuck,” She cussed, “are you going to? Stay here and serve us drinks when we need you to.” Lily took a deep loud breath before turning to look at us, yet again. I didn't miss the sight of the glare she aimed at the both of us before walking over to a corner, not so far from us and leaned her back on the wall. In a game, everyone plays with purpose, yet, someone has to be at the losing end.

“You’ve made your choice, and it was the wrong one. Consider yourselves on thin ice. Now get out of my way.” They stepped aside quickly, and I stormed past them, my fury driving each step. When I arrived at the film set, the bustling activity did nothing to quell the fire inside me. My eyes scanned the crowd, searching for Lily. My heart pounded, not from exertion but from sheer anticipation. Then I heard it—whispers, murmurs that carried through the air like an unwelcome breeze. “Lily’s leaving again.” The words hit me like a freight train. My fists clenched at my sides, my jaw tightening to the point of pain.

"I'm sorry." I stood there watching him walk away step by step, finally disappearing from my life completely. "Goodbye forever." In the end, Patrick never left. The night before his departure, an emotionally unstable Lily stabbed him. He lost too much blood and fell into a coma. Lily was arrested immediately and seemed to have completely lost her mind. At the crucial moment, Patrick woke up and ultimately chose not to press charges. Their relationship was finally, definitively over. I saw Lily again at an art exhibition.

Lily's POV I was wearing a simple white dress while entering the Harrison mansion. The place is crowded and everyone is turning their head in my direction as I walk along the pavement. This Rogue's parents' wedding anniversary party. Of course, me and my mom are invited. But mom is sick. I went straight to the pool area and found the couple talking to some honorable business tycoons. I was carrying a paper bag in my hand. Inside lies my gift for them. "Lily!"

“We’ll keep our parents satisfied, and you do anything you want.” With that, they turned to leave the room, and Lily felt a mix of gratitude and confusion. She had expected a night of humiliation and pain, but instead, she found herself presented with an unexpected choice. “Fine,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper. “I’ll go along with it… for now.” Liam and Lucas exchanged a glance before they left the room, closing the door behind them. Lily sighed, sinking back into the warm water, the reality of her situation settling heavily on her shoulders.
