He looked at Ethan, before he set his sights on Jack."You again. I thought she had gotten rid of you." Jack looked confused again. Confused as to who the hell this guy is. I never did explain to him who Mason was after they met that night."No, it doesn't look like I'm going anywhere." "Not yet."He smirked, before looking back at me. "So about that heater, something needs to done. There's a constant sounds of water dripping and I'm trying to work."

Fleur knew that the task ahead would not be easy, but she drew strength from the unwavering support of Zeeb and their allies. Fleur's heart raced as she stood before the council of Lycan elders, alongside Zeeb, her love and beacon of hope. The room was filled with tension, the weight of their forbidden romance hanging in the air like a storm cloud ready to unleash its fury. They were surrounded by the esteemed Lycan leaders: Chief Robe, Zeeb's father and the revered head of their pack, Damon, the powerful Alpha who commanded respect and loyalty from all Lycans, and the council members, their gazes filled with a mixture of curiosity and concern.

She was not old in the traditional sense—Solmyra had long outlived the body she was born in. Unlike her, he had no blood, only the living essence of those who had died to make him—the souls of fae warriors and slain werewolves, forged into something monstrous by her spellwork. He was not her son, nor her husband, nor her slave. He was a piece of her. And even he could see—Solmyra was weakening.

It will kill me and all my friends. Phelan pounced again. This time, Don brought Riptide up in a deadly arc. The hellhound disintegrated into dust and fur. He had prepared for this midnight of the moon, for he had the news already at hand. He could see More wolves surged forward—snakes and giants and telkhines—but the wolf roared at them, and they backed off, “One on one?” He called. “Just like old times?” Phelon's nostrils quivered. She seriously needed to keep a pack of Kleenex in her armor pocket because that nose was wet and red and pretty gross. She unstrapped her dagger and swung it around. Freya would have felt pity for the Anomaly, if the thing hadn't nearly torn her limb from limb just a moment ago. He sat on the edge of a rock a few feet above, black coat flying in the breeze, with a disinterested expression on his irritatingly handsome face. Jester Lee. Master Necromancer. Rookie of the Year. Every woman's unattainable fantasy. Arrogant prick. "You're late," Frey said, making her way up the slope towards him. "You're ungrateful," he replied, looking even more disinterested than before.
