Samuel burst in, out of breath. "Bryan just released a new story, and… It's exactly the same as the one you finished yesterday!"

Sam ranted away, barely giving me anytime to speak. I scratched an itch at my temples waiting for Sam to finish. It was obvious I wouldn't be getting any words in until Sam had fully vented. “I don't support this!” Sam said pointedly. “He is my son, Sam.” I argued. Regardless of whatever it was, it wouldn't change the fact that Brian was still my son and we have never been like this. This hate hasn't always been there. Maybe like his father, Brian was broken too. Sam wasn't willing to listen to any reason. He was adamant and then he dropped a bombshell. A doubt that has never once crossed my mind.

Brian responds back as he looks to the group and quickly counts and asks, "How many.. 6?" "Yessir, Tequilla, please!" Luke answers back to him, knowing the girls shot of choice. "Sam, no one has beaten your time on "Bully" in what, 2 years? Easy money!" Jimmy says to Sammy and their friends Steve interrupts and says, "I mean, she has lost a few times though," and quickly receives an elbow in his side from Luke and says, "What? It's the truth, ain't it?" "Yeah man, we know.. Those couple times Sam didn't win were flukes, and we all know it!" Luke quickly responds, coming to Sammy's defense.

“You are here now. Maybe you can stay after all of this is done, at least for a while.” “I would like that,” she said, smiling up at her son. Gabriel cleared his throat loudly to remind them that they were all waiting to hear what Samuel had to say. “You said that you had a theory,” he prompted. “So, yeah,” Samuel said, rubbing the back of his neck. “I was kind of listening to your conversation, sorry,” he said with a half shrug. “I don’t care if you were listening in,” Gabriel growled, getting irritated. “I just want to hear your theory if you have a decent one.”
