He eventually gets to find out the geisha was indeed a guy named Nagisa. Nagisa is a college student as well as a crossdresser who does modelling jobs to further his education. Langdon immediately fell in love with him thinking him to be a girl, when even after he finds out Nagisa was a guy, he still maintains strong feelings for him. However, things started to get messy when Langdon flew back to Miami with this crossdresser under the guise to marry him.
