She’d called him on his connector - which he learned functioned in a way similar to surface earth’s cellular telephone- to tell him that, although still not comfortable with the fact that she was in the land of giant hybrids, Chloe agreed to go before the king for Tristan’s sake. I could see the smoky black and grey tendrils slithering slowly across the forest floor, making there way towards me and I just stared with anticipation. Leo rolled his eyes at the grand entrance of the ghastly person forming from the shadows, but Pandora was thrilled that her Predestined was so extravagant.

And now he'd severed the last strand of sanity holding him together. "You never had me," I taunted. Leo's smile twisted. "Didn't I?" He aimed the gun at me. "Don't." Cassian's voice cracked. "Leo, don't." What's going on here, Leo?" another voice yelled from the side. Pandora. She stepped out of the darkness, a blade in her palm, eyes on her brother. "Ah. Here comes the prodigal daughter," Leo growled. "Thought you could hide forever?"
