He paused, then said, “And we’ve confirmed this—Leon and Vivian are definitely involved.” Sarah’s voice dropped. “Neither of them will get away with this. Not for what they did to Scarlett. Not for what they did to Mia. Not for what they did to me. Or the others who didn’t make it.” “Leon’s from H Country,” Melvin said, “So legally, he’s not much of a threat. But he’s clearly got big ambitions. I think he’s had his eye on East Coast for a while now.” Sarah nodded. “Vivian’s impressive too. Even with Wilson Corp in ruins, she’s still holding on. I’ve gotta give her that.”

Alex cussed taking steps away from me but I grabbed his hands with the little sight if him that I could see. "Where do you think you're going to?" I asked, panic rising in my voice. "This is dark fog, the beast of the east is back. We are not safe, none of us is." Alex answered and i felt a cold chill run down my spine. I've heard a lot about the beast of the east and trust me, nothing said about him was good. Everything was evil. And... Damn! The late Alpha and Luna is yet to be buried. The beast of the east Is back.... How can they be buried with war ongoing?

Then, she lifted her hand, touched the touchpad and moved the cursor towards the play button. Her heart beat slowly, yet each beat felt strangely heavy. She drew in a deep breath and swallowed before pressing the button. The screen turned black and silent. Estelle almost thought the recording was corrupted, but gradually, faint sounds began to emerge: Roland’s breathing, heavier than usual. The image slowly came into view and the first thing Estelle saw was the corner of a private room in Verité Prime. She would never mistake that room; she had visited the restaurant far too many times. There was no doubt in her mind: it was Lennon’s private room.

I mumbled, sweeping some papers down to the ground to make space for more. Anything to keep me from thinking of Lena. I didn't want to give Louis’ words a thought. The reports kept my mind preoccupied for a while until I was done going through the last of them. Time had struck past the middle of the night by a few minutes, however, I didn't feel a need to rest any more. Lena quickly occupied my thoughts again. What if Louis was right? What if I was going to get played yet again? She seemed nice but they always were until they revealed what they really look like.

And he walked out. The moment the door closed, the air shifted in the room. Both Leonel and Lucien were giving me strange vibes. “What happened?” I asked quietly. Something’s wrong, and I could feel it in my bones. Leonel stepped toward my bed. “Your wolf, Evelara,” he said. “That is not an average wolf.” He didn’t waste any time. My heart shuddered as he spoke. His voice was accusing. “What do you mean?” “And black on top of that?” He shook his head as though he didn't hear my words. “There is no record of a black wolf— none with power, or without it.”

High-purity wolfsbane had eaten away at her skin, while silver wounds cut deep enough to reveal the bone beneath. All strength drained from Aiden's body, and he collapsed to his knees beside the body. The Rogue walked over to him. "Luna Elara died three days ago. The cause of death was a combination of severe injuries from wolfsbane and silver before she fell into the rapids. Her body was only discovered this morning. Please sign the confirmation of mate death." The world lost all color, leaving only the stark white of the sheet before him and the black hole tearing open in his chest.

"I built that penthouse to be a fortress. And my father turned it into a weapon in five minutes. I walked us right into his trap, Elara." "You didn't know," she said, reaching across the console to cover his hand on the gear stick. "Silas is... he’s not human. He’s a virus." "He’s my blood," Lucian spat. "And I’m terrified that Leo has that same blood. Did you see him with the cube? He solved a Level 5 encryption in three hours. He was fascinated by it." "Leo is curious, Lucian. Not evil. There’s a difference." Lucian checked the mirror again. This time, he didn't look away.

I made it to the bathroom and locked myself in a stall, my whole body shaking because this couldn't be happening, not here, not in my safe place where I'd finally learned how to breathe again. He could sense me. I knew it the same way I'd known Cade was my mate, that bone-deep certainty that came with being a werewolf even if my wolf had never emerged. And if he could sense me then he'd be curious, would ask questions, might even recognize my scent if he'd ever been near my old pack. I splashed cold water on my face and tried to pull myself together because falling apart in the bathroom wasn't going to change anything. When I came out Maya was at the register and the man was gone, a fifty do

"I saw that black thing burrowed into your body!" I looked nervously at Leon, "You're in danger right now!" " "No, he's gone!" Leon said calmly, his eyes shining purple-black in the moonlight, "That evil thing didn't touch my body!" Now we need to get back to camp as soon as possible!" "Yes, I see it!" I stubbornly said, "I saw it with my own eyes..." "I said, go back to camp, now!" Leon interrupted me, "Don't make me repeat it!"

The swarm of melees undead was getting closer to the center, Lilith was giving violent horizontal blows, 4 puppets ensuring her protection, Leon was closer to the ruins, 5 puppets on him, but every second a puppet was destroyed by the shooters, and replaced immediately by Marie who was exhausting herself. Leon was breathing heavily, his eyes shot with rage. "Not... This time!... I will win... I will win!" He moved closer to the cloud of smoke, sweeping more and more undead around him and not even noticing the puppets getting destroyed. "Everything depends on this... Everything depends on this victory! I will win... I will wi-" A gigantic hand emerged from the cloud and smacked him into the a
