I still struggle with letting the thought go, I just know that one day I'll conquer the fear of letting people get close to me. A sigh releases from my lips while I poke at my food. I'm quite not hungry right now, but I know better than to leave the room without even getting anything in my mouth and stomach. With a pair of chocolate brown eyes watching me like a hawk, I can't afford that mistake. One might think she's minding her own business but I know that Vicky's watching me, right from across the room.

Go over to Stephanie’s house to watch it. Y’all will just watch it together over the phone anyway.”
