The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

Grief, exhaustion, just trying to hold it together for Jax because he was all we had left. For a moment, it feels like I’m back in that house. Too quiet. Too heavy. Like the walls were pressing in and darkness was weighing us down. I don’t think we opened the curtains for an entire week. “Loss leaves marks,” the voice murmurs softly. Leo’s steady warmth presses to my back, and I blink, pushing the memories away. “It was… different back then. Everything was.” I shake my head slightly. “Honestly, I don’t think I would’ve noticed. We were just surviving.”

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

this was the first story I read by this author. it was beautiful! I felt every emotion and got some crazy looks from my mate when I would start laughing or wiping my face because I shed some tears. it's definitely worth reading. I finished it in 2 days because I literally couldn't put it down

Lost to Earth: Book Three

Lost to Earth: Book Three

The loss of Beatrice was all-consuming, and I closed myself off from the world. To this day, I regret how I first treated her while wishing she was still here with me." "I'm so sorry for your loss," my tone filled with the grief I feel for him. "Maybe someday you can find your happiness and love again," I offer. "I did find my happiness. With you, Jessa," he speaks as if it was a confession. I don't reply because, how can I? I do have feelings for him, but my love life has been one giant ball of

Lost to Fire: Book Two

Lost to Fire: Book Two

Meanwhile, about a week and a half later, we received a letter from Eurydice. She wrote: "My loving Papa, I have safely arrived, and Rome is big and exciting! The buildings of the Roman Forum and the Imperial Palace are vast. Uncle Titus let me visit his library the first day I arrived. I was so happy to view all the great works of the Ancient Greek poets and philosophers. Of course, he has the writings of the Roman men throughout the century. The orations of Cicero, the sagas of Ovid, and so many others that I cannot remember all their names! I was given a tutor, a man, but he's not like my Jessa. Please convey how much I miss her, and I search for her litter every day! I'm not sad in Rome,

Dead Queens Don't Kneel Twice: Return of the Beheaded Empres

Dead Queens Don't Kneel Twice: Return of the Beheaded Empres

But it was the only thing I hadn't forced myself past yet and I'd stopped trying. The journal was open in front of me. Not the tactical one. The other one. The letter wasn't finished. It didn't matter. I'd finish it tonight and burn it the way I burned all of them, because I couldn't send them and couldn't keep them and three years in I still couldn't stop writing them. I wrote to her about the things she missed. About Lucian, what little I could find out — that he was growing, that he was healthy, that Yuna dressed him well. I wrote to her about the border. About the school I'd built and lost and built and lost and finally left in rubble because the third time felt like the world making a p

The Billionaire's Contract Wife

The Billionaire's Contract Wife

It was a letter—a letter from someone we thought was lost forever. Trembling with anticipation and anxiety, I tore open the envelope, my eyes scanning the words that danced across the page. It was a message from my long-lost mother, Olivia. The same mother who, years ago, had disappeared under mysterious circumstances, leaving behind a void that had haunted me ever since.

Little Emily

Little Emily

"Dear Emily, We're so sorry we haven't been in touch. Things have been complicated, but we want you to know that we love you and miss you terribly. We're trying to find a way to bring you back to us, but until then, please stay safe and know that you're always in our thoughts. With all our love, Your brothers" Emily clutched the letter to her chest, her heart swelling with relief and joy. They hadn't forgotten her. They still cared. The sadness that had weighed her down for weeks began to lift, replaced by a renewed sense of hope.

Very different novel from others , hard to put down as gripping story line from ex husband's and scheming mistress , which are super boring. hope the author does justice to the story line. though dying of Austin wasn't necessary..

The story was interesting but I don’t feel there was any closure. Who was the man/person Matthew? Who was he working for? It could not just be Amy doing all of the stuff? Who killed or ran Austin off the road?? How is Isabella? So many questions no answers!!!!

Shadows of the Lost

Shadows of the Lost

She would have liked it better if the wielders addressed in the letter would be able to read it personally, but since they’re already dead, the thought of them reading it was almost laughable and… absurd. Looking around, she put down the other four letters and propped the first letter on her face, her face burning red. Thankfully, no one’s around, so she’s safe from taunting, if ever. The first letter was addressed for George William, which read: “Oy, pea-head! I don’t call you like that back then, but looking back, I think you do. I’m not saying this because of your positive look at Pasithea nor am I antagonizing your perception about it, but it really is dumb of you to think there’s beauty

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.
