After Zeke had given almost everyone an autograph, the next guest was called in. “Now for the next surprise guest, give it up for Lisa Greene,” he said, which almost caused me to jump up from my seat. If I knew that Lisa was the guest celebrity on the show, I would never have agreed to be part of it. Why did I have to meet Lisa everywhere? She was following me like a shadow. Unlike Mr. Zeke, who literally got a scream for Sarah and got the live channel to go crazy and literally cause the views for the show to multiply.

Later, their food had arrived. "Wow, this looks all yummy." Ivy and Ivanna flattered. They were easily amazed by certain things. Ash and Ezekiel were just watching them being impressed. "Try this lobster." Ivy puts into Ezekiel's plates. Ezekiel was shocked but same time happy. "Thank you for inviting me to have lunch with you" Ivy said. "You should thank Ezekiel." Ash said, smiling. Ivy smiled and turned to see Ezekiel who was watching her eating. "Thank you." she said, smiling.

Instead— Something else played. At first, the guests were unaware. They continued murmuring amongst themselves, sipping their drinks, waiting for the expected company video. But then— The screen displayed something different. A hotel suite. The camera panned across a luxurious bed, silk sheets tangled haphazardly. The murmurs in the ballroom quieted. Serena felt it happen. The shift. The moment people realized this was not the presentation they had been expecting. A few confused chuckles. Then— A woman’s moan echoed through the speakers.

I'm willing to berate him for being so rude, but he looks so excited like he's about to explode that I can't help but ask, "What is he talking about?" I look at Luis confused. "Well, it was supposed to be a surprise, but with him around that he can't keep a secret, let me show you" Both with our curiosities peaking, we followed Luis toward the back of the house with Diego enthusiastically leading the way. It takes me a few seconds to understand what I'm seeing, but once I'm sure he's there and it's not just a hallucination ... "Oh my God," I say, covering my mouth in disbelief.

Gray smoke billowed in the air; the lights on the stage were off, and there was a fire. "Fire! Run!!!" The guests screamed in chaos, and started to run away in panic. Luna was startled. She subconsciously shrank to the side, and a hand held her shoulder. "Relax. Follow the crowd to the emergency exit in a minute, and watch your steps." Levian's deep voice calmed her. She looked up. Levian's eyes looked bright in the dim environment.

His gaze flicked to me instead, now and then, lingering like he was checking if I was still breathing. When the lights dimmed and the host took the podium, I exhaled slowly. Just speeches. Clap. Smile. Go home. Then— “And now, a surprise moment none of us saw coming…” I stiffened. “…a heartfelt message from a special guest. Please welcome—Mr. Smith Swebb.”

Lovie’s words were cut short, and she leaned against Atlas. Poor them. They were probably wondering why half the guests were staring at them in disgust. “W-what’s going on, Atlas?” Lovie said, staring with wide eyes. “I think they are looking at something from their phones,” I said, pulling out mine. “What could it be…?” I feigned confusion, biting back a smile as the news popped up, just below my search bar. Rade was a genius. I knew leaking Atlas’ bankruptcy to the guests would be a goldmine, but this?

Anne stared down at me from above and sneered, "A pathetic fraud like you dares to covet my fiance? You really do have a death wish." At that moment, a familiar voice sounded from above. "Anne! Are you and the baby alright? Who on earth dared to bully you?" It was Caleb. His voice was full of anger. "This is a private party. Who let these troublemakers in? If anyone hurts Anne or my unborn child, I'll make sure they regret it." While they were all focused on Caleb, I seized the chance and rose from the water. Our eyes locked. "I did." He went completely still.

Drishti said and leaned towards him, whispering, "How's the surprise?" He stared at the duo walking towards the garden, bickering with each other. Six weeks later..... I've been having an awful feeling at work, I shouldn't have drink that octopus soup that Cameron recommended me to at lunch today. It was my first time eating octopus and yuck!
