And this time the line barely rang twice before someone answered. “Hello?” Just the sound of the voice made my heart leap in my chest. Adrian. The list of the cities where the special guests will be invited for the first grand party is out,” she said and turned the phone to Xalia. Xalia stared at it and her heart skipped a beat as she saw New York on the list. “What guests? Billionaires in that city?” she asked and looked at Lea.

Her attitude towards me earlier on now made sense. I took a sip of water, my sharp ears catching whispers among the guests. I couldn't believe my eyes as I watched Fiona walking with a group of people, looking extremely comfortable as she leaned into the side of a man who looked like none other than the water dragon deity himself. He placed a kiss on the top of her head, almost reassuring her that everything would be OK.

Liviana tiptoes down the hall, peeking into passing rooms in search of the person she thinks was responsible for such a loud noise. "Dad?" No response. She sighs. Okay... second guess. "Mom?" In response to the commotion behind him the showman spin around, his expression more irritated than happy as it was only seconds before. When his eyes land on the cause of disruption the sinister figure stumbles back, using his cane to catch his balance completely caught off guard by their emergence. He quickly looks around at the whispering ground and tries to regain his composure, not to appear weak in front of his eager, betting customers. “My, my, my. Look who we have here. A surprise special guest! No one other than, Elijah Night,” he sneers sarcastically as the crowd erupts into boo’s and gasps as they part away allowing them to enter the arena without any issue.

After Zeke had given almost everyone an autograph, the next guest was called in. “Now for the next surprise guest, give it up for Lisa Greene,” he said, which almost caused me to jump up from my seat. If I knew that Lisa was the guest celebrity on the show, I would never have agreed to be part of it. Why did I have to meet Lisa everywhere? She was following me like a shadow. Unlike Mr. Zeke, who literally got a scream for Sarah and got the live channel to go crazy and literally cause the views for the show to multiply.

Later, their food had arrived. "Wow, this looks all yummy." Ivy and Ivanna flattered. They were easily amazed by certain things. Ash and Ezekiel were just watching them being impressed. Instead— Something else played. At first, the guests were unaware. They continued murmuring amongst themselves, sipping their drinks, waiting for the expected company video. But then— The screen displayed something different. A hotel suite. The camera panned across a luxurious bed, silk sheets tangled haphazardly. The murmurs in the ballroom quieted. Serena felt it happen. The shift. The moment people realized this was not the presentation they had been expecting. A few confused chuckles. Then— A woman’s moan echoed through the speakers.
