Tease Out The Truth

Tease Out The Truth

Arya interrupted the conversation, perhaps she sensed the dark aura of this teacher. "Hi, ma'am, we badly need your help for a case that we've been solving. So I hope you don't mind if we look into the records," she said kindly. The librarian smiled at her. How did she turn this old girl around so quickly? Well, I must praise her for that. "What records do you need, Ms. Santos?" "List of those who have borrowed a compilation of students' Literary works here." "Oh, I'm sorry. I can't help you with that. Our records has been hacked and now, we can't open it. They are currently fixing it, however the recordings will be lost there. You're an hour late. We just fou

Billionaire's Accidental Wife

Billionaire's Accidental Wife

A few unoccupied couches that appeared to be as old as the structure sat peacefully in front of the bookcases. "May I help you with something?" inquired an enormous ginger red-haired librarian, perhaps in her upper forties, standing behind a computer. Behind the wire-rimmed glasses, her face appeared nice and honest. Ben said, "Yes, Ma'am. We only need a minute or two on one of your PCs."

I'm almost done with book 1 and all I can say is you need to read this, what u see in the first few chapters were just snacks, the real thing is when Catherine and Shawn's adventures started to look for his grandfather's treasures. It was like full of twist and your learn alot from this.

She was here to compare what she had just learned as the truth to what was written in the history books. She looked around the dust covered books on the shelve before her, some books missing pieces of their covers and some having what smelt awfully like cockroach pee. For such an expensive school, they really spared no expense in the library. She huffed and took backward steps till she was out of the almost deserted library. She continued her walk to her room, humming A Million Reasons by Lady Gaga.

My Best Friend : He's the one I have

My Best Friend : He's the one I have

I raised my head up quickly at the sound of my name. “ I am. ” I stood up as the librarian scrutinized me. She was the new librarian, Lucy Wenford, a British American. Too beautiful to be unmarried but rumor has it that she was more interested in women. “ Okay. ” She gave me a look of pity before walking away to her desk which was at the far end of the library. For the first time, I was thankful I had company and super thankful that I stayed in a seat, too far away from the watchful eyes of the librarian.

LABYRINTH

LABYRINTH

She didn't seem like the chirpy happy go lucky person, but you know what they say, 'Never judge a book by its cover'. "Good morning mam. How may I assist you on this lovely morning?" She asks while a bright cheerful smile is sporting her facial muscles. "I would like to know in which room I can find Miss Amia Crosswood." I say. "I believe she came in this morning around eight o'clock, she is in labour." I added. "I'm sorry mam, but if I may ask, what are you missing Crossword?" She asks. "Well uhm," taking a glance at her name tag "Leah Meyers, she is the woman carrying my husband's baby." I say in a quite stonelike manner.

asks Hector. “We are at the library. You're welcome to come and look around, but only if you want to read or borrow a book. None of that hiding and making out here,” she says with a stern tone. “No, ma'am. I love to read,” says Hector. “Good, I am Mrs. Blake, help yourself and if you need any help, just let me know.” Hector nods and begins to look around.

The last Witch: fulfilling the annihilation of vampires prop

she begged and pinched her brows, making a look of helplessness. "Every written word is important, Lorraine. It's rather better to ask for a summary of the book than say 'only the important part of the book', okay?" Herla corrected her. Lorraine remembered her school librarian. This would have been the exact same response they would give to anyone who insinuated there's a part of a book that was less important than another. "Are you a librarian?" Lorraine's eyes followed Herla as she flapped her wings. "Yes. I used to be a librarian."

Fated (Book #11 in the Vampire Journals)

Fated (Book #11 in the Vampire Journals)

She slowly released her grip. “I’m sorry,” she said, “but I haven’t time. My matter is urgent.” “Your matter?” he said disdainfully. “Fantasy books?” Caitlin blushed. She didn’t know what to say to make him understand how truly pressing this was. “I need the books now,” she said. “NOW, do you understand me!?” Her words echoed too loudly in the silent hall, and people sitting quietly looked up from their books and glanced at them. The librarian, clearly embarrassed, scowled back at her. Without a word, he turned and walked away, his footsteps echoing down the hall, climbing the metal steps to the upper level, to the endless stacks.

In the Darkness of City Blocks

In the Darkness of City Blocks

- I'll be training new recruits in the basements. - said Baruz, leaving the archive. The door slammed shut. The librarian, after standing for a while, took an armful of books and sat down at the computer. Without looking at the monitor, he quickly tapped on the keys. The noise of the cooler, the flickering of the monitor, such simple things, so quickly fit into the usual life. Modern technology, surrounded by old books. The present interacts with the past, seeking to avoid mistakes.
