Lucifer's Hearthstone

Lucifer's Hearthstone

They were all dressed in black and white. As they began to descend down the stairs, Arwen green eyes caught sight of huge picture frame that was hanging on the wall and her eyes got wide when she recognize who it was. Lucifer ? It was a a picture of Lucifer sitting on his throne majestically with legs crossed. His right hand was resting on his crossed legs with his left hand was holding a glass of blood. When she looked into his dark red eyes she shuddered in fear as a tore her eyes away immediately.

He’s just my boss. Sure. He sent a winking emoji, For now. Think of how lovely you’ll look on the front page of a magazine together! I laughed. I could just picture it. Whore and Warhammer Heir: Love, Lust, and Rebellion I grinned as another headline came to mind, imagining him sitting behind the official desk of the Warhammer pack’s alpha and her seated on the desk with little more than her underwear on. It’s not for everyone because of the dark parts of the story but I couldn’t stop reading it after getting over some parts that made my skin crawl & cringe. There were some incomplete sentences which were annoying. Thought it could be longer to make it more complete at the end.

Great story. There are some heavy chapters to get through so if rape, sex trafficking or abuse are triggers for you then skip this book!!! If they aren't triggers for you then I highly recommend this book. I agree with other comments that the incomplete sentences were annoying.

Torn Between Alphas

Torn Between Alphas

“The world you knew is gone. This was inevitable. The so-called prophesy was blind to them. A game. But now … now the real war begins.” Lucian clenched his eyes shut, and attempted to observe the form of the chamber. The shadows drank the whole thing, it laughed with deception thin around his space, stretched at the ends of nightmare, behind little person but make sure there wasn’t a little person. The creature’s words had punched him like an anvil and snatched the breath. But within the tumult of war there was one bright spot. They couldn’t give up. They needed to get out front of this thing.’

TEMPTING THE DEFENDER

TEMPTING THE DEFENDER

device reflecting in his eyes like a digital fever. "Uplink established," The Glitch’s voice crackled in his earpiece, filtered through layers of encryption. "But you’ve got company, Alessandro. The moment you breached the wall, a silent alarm went off in a private security hub in Canary Wharf. You have six minutes before the 'Cleaners' arrive. And these aren't the Board's boys—they're the City's finest mercenaries." "Six minutes is an eternity in a library," Alessandro muttered. He began to pull binders from the shelves. He didn't need all of them; he only needed the "Master Ledger"—the physical record of the shell companies that held the Librarian’s own assets. If the Librarian was a ghost

The First Mate

The First Mate

I had not known much about them, other than the few who had passed through town, none of them took interest in humans so it was rare they spoke outside of simple requests and answers. "Ours." He said, his tone cold and factual. I turned back to the pages, seeing the seal of the Tombs. An ancient library designed for knowledge and items for future generations. I looked at Gabriel, seeing the glaze of sadness echo. Vampires were immortal, Warriors of the Goddess, a gift that could not be shared. Whatever war was to come, though he said it was ours, it was not within my lifetime. I would die well before the horns of battle were sounded for this, replaced by another version of me.

Forever Mine

Forever Mine

I decided to visit the library. It was a cool autumn day, and the leaves from the oak trees on the grounds littered the ground. It was one of those days when it just felt like the clouds could open up at any moment, and soak everything below. Lucian was away for his Alpha council meeting. Which seemed to be happening a lot lately. I had never been to the Crimson Shadow's pack library. It was huge! Not all packs could maintain an archive. Constant displacement and pack war made it difficult to maintain an archive. Only the most powerful and oldest of packs were able to keep their records or archives. Looking at some dusty manuscripts, they could be 100s of years old.

This is awesome! From Book 1 to this book, the author really improved with the pacing and storyline… Well, except for the grammatical errors, still deserved the perfect score for the story itself… I hope you also write another book for Aiden’s story… Kudos to you dear author and congratulations!

Another wonderful story by this author! So happy with how everything came together and ended. Very well written, flowed well. Will there be a 3rd story or is this it? Either way, loved it - good job author! 😊

For War and Love of the Seven Realms

For War and Love of the Seven Realms

Five Years Prior Valerian: Valerian sat in his private chambers, finishing up paperwork for pay increase for his men throughout the ranks of the military. He would never forget how the whole of his men had rioted when he had been taken away to the healers. His lieutenant explained to Valerian that none of the men cared whatever lover he chose as he was the best commanding officer they had had for three millennia. Better wages for his men, better living quarters and better weapons were the only things a commanding officer could give his men; and Val hoped that they would be happy with these things.

Their Hidden Princess

Their Hidden Princess

I was on a mission. The librarian stopped at the end of the long case of tombs. She wiggled her fingers as she read across the spines then hummed when she found the one she wanted. She pulled the spine gingerly and it fell into her hands. Although, it didn’t actually touch her hands. It floated above them in a haze of purple light. She saw my eyes go wide at the magiks and chuckled. “This tomb survived both the Enslavement and the Great War,” she said. “I’d be doing a terrible job if I let everyone’s grubby fingers all over it. The magiks around it preserve the book but still allow it to be read.”

Marked by the Mafia Boss [BL]

Marked by the Mafia Boss [BL]

The years after the lighthouse were a silent, cold war fought in the interstices of global finance and data. The Librarian was true to their word. They were not a constant threat, but a periodic, brilliant irritant. They never attacked the core—the energy grid, the logistics spine, the political influence. They targeted the periphery: a cultural fund's endowment would be subtly diverted to an anarchist art collective in Berlin; the press release for a new "ethical AI" initiative would be hacked and replaced with a scathing, perfectly logical critique of its underlying assumptions. Each incursion was a piece of conceptual art, a prank with a PhD. It was never about the money; it was about the

Tribrid : Rejected By One, Claimed By Four

Tribrid : Rejected By One, Claimed By Four

POV: SOREN BLACKTHORN The silence of the Grand Library was something I usually enjoyed, but tonight it felt tense, like the whole place was waiting for something. I stood in the center of the room, surrounded by thousands of old books and tall shelves that reached the ceiling. As the Alpha Warlock of the Blackthorn Coven, my life was built on knowledge, discipline, and control. While wolves depended on their strength and vampires hid behind their pride, I understood the power that moved through the world. Magic was alive, and I spent every day making sure it stayed balanced.
