When the phone buzzed, Nico held onto the bag, "Take my body back to Calabria."
"You're not dying yet, Boss."
He shrugged, "Just in case," into the phone; he let out, "I'm here."
"I see the car. Now step out. Let's make this fast. I'm sure we both have things to do."
He snatched the bag and descended from the car. Instinctively, he spun around, surveying his surroundings. The area was filled with partially demolished old houses, steep terrain, and piles of limestone bricks. That they had chosen a place so remote set off the alarm in his head.
