I stated, looking around to see if Alek was near. We will get tired of her eventually and then we will have to move on. Call me messed up, hell, call me fucked up, I don’t care. I’m living my life and ain’t hurting anybody in the process. MICHAEL'S POV. I sat quietly on the couch shaking the glass of wine in my hand, my mind still clouded with guilt. I still couldn't believe Allen talked me into this evil act, it wasn't because I was righteous, I was the complete opposite. My name was Micheal but I was known among the billionaires as “The drug devil”. I was a drug dealer, one that you shouldn't mess with…one that valued money more than family. I was someone who sent shivers through people's spine, there was no single person that crossed me and never lived.

The man didn’t look like a drug dealer at all. “Listen up,” Porto continued. “It’s easy. Get the goods and come out. No drama and absolutely no distractions under—”

"Speak. Now." "The... the suppressant with me is completely finished," the uncle wept, his head hanging low as tears and blood mixed on his face. "I don't have any left here. The only way to get it... it’s a lifeline. You have to purchase it from a dark dealer in the veil markets." Seraphina’s eyebrows lowered. "A lifeline? Explain." "The dealer doesn't take money," the uncle whispered, his voice shaking with absolute terror. "Money is completely useless to him. The price depends entirely on the quantity you want. Each dose... each single dose costs exactly five years of your life. He drains your life span directly from your soul."
