The man looked at him.
"Don't forget what today was. The boy who stepped into the ring last year... isn't the same man sitting here now."
As Marcus stepped out, Sloane returned to her bag. She pulled out the compression roller, lacrosse balls, cooling gel, resistance bands, and a towel rolled into a cylinder. Every movement precise. Fast, but not rushed.
"Now comes the real part," she said softly.
Lennox was still sitting on the bench, now leaning back, legs stretched out in front of him. As he watched her, he suddenly knew: this sixty minutes... wasn't for his opponents.
