The Vampire Kings And Their Little Mate

The Vampire Kings And Their Little Mate

My eyes slowly moved to spot the velvet-covered book and something written on it with golden ink that shined in the light coming through the open window. Despite thinking to ignore it at first, I found myself walking towards it a few moments later. Something about leaving this book without looking through it did not feel right to me, it just made me feel some sort of anxiousness I was not ready to deal with. I walked closer to the book and picked it up. On the blood-red colored cover of the book, there remained written in bold golden letters— Predators. The confusion took over whilst I looked at the name, my fingertips brushed on the velvet feeling the smoothness of it, and then I slowly ope

Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

As suddenly as it appeared, so suddenly its life had come to an end. It lay there quietly. A cobalt blue fox the size of a mastiff. The undercoat was black, as were the legs and stomach. But the most striking thing about the Amphitheater was the white star markings on his forehead, which gave him something mystical. "That was easy," I said from my lips. At that moment the prole twitched. Our weapons almost jumped into our hands on their own and tensed the barrel at the monster, but now it was quiet again.

Luna of the Menae

Luna of the Menae

He tilts his head with concern when I look back at him. “Just promise me.” I wipe the tears from my face. “Please.” “Okay, I promise won’t get mad.” He shakes his head, not understanding why he would need to promise that. I take the dragon scale gloves from Pan and carefully unwrap the leather strings holding the bag closed. I reach inside and grab the massive book by the spine. I wait a moment to prepare myself before I slide it out onto the crystal stand. I take a sharp breath when it comes into view. It’s just as beautiful as I remember. The cursed black leather cover has a sheen of iridescent purple when it hits the light. Instead of a leather binding on the edge, I sowed it with golden

This story was “ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL”!! I love love loved it!! So well written & very descriptive!! The characters had such depth! My favourite characters were Bronx and Kas(Iokaste), of course!! They went through “SO” much, but made it through!!

Love this book and this author. She has found a way to write two books that seem like completely different stories but then happen to intertwine at an unexpected point. Ever chapter she posts leaves me wanting more. I can’t wait to continue reading this series!

In Love with a Human

In Love with a Human

She took the book from Vida’s hand and playfully kept it out of her reach. “Hey!” Vida giggled. “Stop it, Tessa. You’ll get my page messed up.” Tessa would not actually lose Vida’s progress in the book. She still sensibly kept her finger where Vida was reading and turned to take a look at the cover. “Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief,” Tessa rolled her eyes. “Ugh, again? How many times have you read this book?” Vida looked up and actually thought about it. Fantasy books have always enthralled her. There is something about these stories that make her fall in love a hundred or maybe even a thousand times.

Light & Darkness: Book 2

Light & Darkness: Book 2

Lilith smiled as he read his admiration for her, but upon reading thoughts about a planned meeting with Nadir, she rose up, still straddling, and scowled while looking at him. - So that's why you were so happy? Because Nadir is finally going to succumb to you?- she asked indignant, digging her nails into the skin on his arms so hard she scratched him to the blood. Samael hissed quietly in pain, tearing her hand and nails away from his skin. - Yes, you guessed it.- he sent her a sly smile, not letting her know how much the scratch actually hurt. Besides, the wounds were already starting to heal.

The Rise Of The Last White Wolf

The Rise Of The Last White Wolf

“Thank you.” His expression softened. “Take your time.” I slowly moved forward, letting my eyes travel across the collection. Some books looked relatively normal. Others appeared ancient. Several bindings were cracked. A few looked like they might fall apart if I breathed too hard. Some were labeled. Others weren’t. My attention immediately landed on a thick book sitting up very high, not even eye level. Something about it stood out. “Can you grab that one?” Raiden reached up and pulled it free before handing it over. The cover was dark and worn smooth with age. I opened it right where we stood. My brows immediately rose. “This is about prophecies.”

The Black Wolf

The Black Wolf

Older than anything I’d ever seen. The cover was wrapped in dark, cracked leather, etched with a strange symbol I didn’t recognize. A gold circle was embedded into the spine, and within it, a single quill rested delicate and ivory, as if plucked from something divine. Curiosity tugged at me. I reached for it. The moment my fingers brushed the surface, the book pulsed. A gentle hum, like a heartbeat, thrummed through my palm.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

"Star River Violent Thunder Cut!" Boom! The rolling thunder and lightning burst out shocking light, and the sound shook people's hearts. In an instant, the rainforest in front of Caspian was burned and turned into ashes. An astonishing roar came from the lightning. A demonic blood-red color tore apart the rolling lightning and shot out like a bolt of red lightning. "A Hundred-legged Heart-piercing Spike!" In the blood-red light, rays of light and shadows instantly poured down in the direction of Caspian like a rainstorm.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

The Chubby Shadow Luna

The Chubby Shadow Luna

“You know she doesn’t deserve the power she has. You know she’s wrong for it. You know the goddess chose wrong. You know she should have chosen me.” The book throbbed harder, silver light crawling across the cover like veins of lightning. A laugh spilled out of me, wild, cracked, and joyful. “Yes,” I breathed. “Yes. I feel you too.” I reached out a trembling hand. “I will take what she stole from me.” The moment my fingers touched the cover, the entire library blew inward with a violent gust of magic. Candles snuffed out. Shadows slammed into the walls. Scrolls ripped from shelves and spun into a cyclone.
