Beware the Heart Thief

Beware the Heart Thief

"I was just… concerned about you." Oliver switched to his wounded puppy expression with blue eyes that glistened with tears. "I was afraid you'd get scammed." "Oh, please." I snorted, picked up my phone, and unlocked it right in front of him. Ignoring Sean's message, I tapped on the Amazon shopping app. "Since you said that your money is mine, I need to test that claim." I quickly typed "outdoor dance speaker" into the search bar and picked the model with the highest wattage and flashing rainbow lights. After placing the order, I set the shipping address to this estate.

Light & Darkness: Book 4

Light & Darkness: Book 4

- she added defiantly, the ball above her head getting bigger and bigger and lightning bolts appearing around it, thundering ominously. Mixtures of terror and anticipation appeared on the faces of the "Viking's" subjected vampires, as their eyes wandered from their leader to the growing ball of light. The blonde's face was impenetrable for several minutes like a marble sculpture, even from his eyes one could not read any emotion. He was looking at Miyuki with that blank eyes, as if he wanted to read from her face if she would be able to fulfill her threat. In the end, however, "Viking" closed his eyes and bowed his head to raise it after a few more seconds. This time he looked at Miyuki with

one of our warriors Gareth warns as I suddenly notice one of the wolves is in fact our own. 'TRAITOR!' Knox screams through the link as he drags the large man to the ground shaking him viciously almost tearing his arm from his shoulder as blood oozes out while the man just laughs sadistically. A quick kick to the temple soon shuts him up, lets just hope he stay unconscious until this fights over. The remaining seven warriors push forward, shifting as they lunge at the intruders. Jaws snapping at limbs, fur and blood coming from all angles. I pick out Levi through the chaos and quickly take his rear leg in my jaw swinging him over my shoulder, landing in a heap at Auroras feet. As he hits the

he asked, pointing to the book. "Of course..." Vinnie said, handing him the brochure. Thane scanned the cover, his eyes narrowing as he looked closely at it. The cover depicted a drawing of a werewolf, a vampire, and witch, in a savage position, poised to attack a helpless human sprawled at their feet. A red danger sign was crossed over the three supernatural creatures, with the caption "The Imminent Threat of Non-Human Entities - A fight for the preservation of Mankind" written boldly on top of it.

But she… didn’t flinch. Lena walked over to a little table display and picked up a thin, cloth-bound book. She walked over to him, holding it out like an offering. *The Quiet Between Lightning Strikes.* A poetry book. The cover was old and nubbly, the title scribbled in fine silver ink. Julian stared at it like it was an alien thing. "What's this?" "A book," she said, smiling. "I told you. I don't—"

From what I have heard, they appear to regard it exceptionally. At the point when he at long last stops, I stop too over an especially thick book named Werewolves, Spiers, and Shifters: Complete Version. On the front is an image of a threatening werewolf ready to gobble up a human and a human combating a genuinely horrendous looking Shifter with a weird-looking lance. I slip it from the rest, concealing it behind me.

SOLD TO THE WEREWOLF KING

SOLD TO THE WEREWOLF KING

The violent disarray wasn’t the methodical search of a victor; it was the tantrum of a thief who had come up empty-handed. Kaelen’s torchlight fell upon the only thing left untouched in the center of the room: a large, flat stone altar. On it rested a single, pristine object. A book, bound in what looked like pale, silvery leather. It was closed, with no title, but a symbol was tooled into its cover—the same symbol from the bone resonator: the wolf unraveling into a spiral.

Not exactly the name I’d seen written on the cover. But I wasn’t about to tell Norma that the real name scrawled there was just ‘Max D. Rivera’ in plain block letters. There were secrets in this book, clearly. Secrets tied to the Rift. And for some reason, I could read them. I ran my finger down the leather-bound edge. The pulse came again. “I’m keeping it,” I told her softly. Norma threw her hands in the air. “Fine! But if lightning strikes twice tonight, I’m sleeping under a table.”

The Billionaire's Little Thief

The Billionaire's Little Thief

“What mai—” The words died as I followed her gaze. A plain brown envelope lay beside her boot. My brows snapped together. “Who the hell dropped this?” I muttered, crouching to snatch it up. We never got mail. Not bills, not flyers, nothing. Wrong house, I almost decided until I flipped it over and saw the two words scrawled in precise black ink across the front: To Little Thief. My heart did a sickening flip. Little Thief. Only one person had ever called me that.

“unlucky contestants…shelf two, book thirteen.” It sounded oddly like a personal note. My curiosity won out and I skimmed my fingers along the spines of the books until I chose one at random. I pulled out a medium-sized book, a deep shade of navy blue. Earthen twine was wrapped around the book, and there was a picture on the front. A middle-aged man with chocolate hair and dark eyes smiled up at me. The cover of the book read, “Arthur Zimmerman, Game 71.

Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.
Therese Dahlqvist
The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet
