I go to lie down on her bed and get comfortable when an idea pops in my head. In a split second, I’m appearing in the Kartheca’s garden surrounded by stunning varieties of flora. Tulips, snowdrops, crocuses, lilies and so many more are in full bloom creating a cascade of colours around the garden giving it a somewhat ethereal appearance. The breeze made them sway just slightly, like they were dancing to a song only they could hear. I stopped walking. “You planted these?” I asked, breath catching in my throat. Adam nodded beside me, and for once he wasn’t smug or teasing—he was just... still. Calm. “Last month. I asked Bridgette to help source the best bulbs. I wanted them to bloom now. For when you’d be here.”

However, as soon as she slided the veranda's door, she stopped dead in her tracks. Her eyes widened in horror and the feet that were glued to the spot a moment ago gained its energy and she immediately moved forward. She found her front lawn full of bouquets. Linda could not even see space. Flowers that were rare, were beautifully outshining the other normal flowers which were basically lilies. However, no matter how extraordinary those flowers were, in Linda's eyes, lilies would be the best. Men in black suits were standing at the starting of the lawn. 'Were they protecting the flowers or what?'

Lilla said quietly. "I know that but you know that I have too." Orion answered and scooped her up in his arms and I smiled. He looks really good with a child in his arms, too bad I can't give him or the others any kids. I smiled sadly at my fate as a broken mate. I followed Orion and Lily into their village but stopped stunned at the sight before me, flowers were everywhere. There were tables and chairs with flowers on them and the trees were decorated with colorful ribbons.
