“You can’t just barge in here and start pawing through my things.” Lilith didn’t answer as she shoved aside a stack of books and pulled open another drawer. Her fingers brushed over my planner, a few pens, then landed on a pile of magazines I’d tucked away. She froze, pulling one out, a glossy issue of Forbes with a feature on Ashley’s new tech company, her face beaming on the cover. Lilith’s eyes narrowed, her jaw tightening as she flipped through the pages, scanning the article. “Looking for something specific, Mother?” I asked as I stepped closer, leaning against the desk. “Or is this just your latest hobby, invading my privacy?”

The primordial one. Lilith, I presumed hung her head low and offered the book to Damien. Damien finally took the book from her hand and started flipping the pages. I couldn’t make what he was thinking. I couldn’t see his facial expressions either. After what seems an awful long eternity, he shut the book down and threw it on the floor and started laughing loudly. His voice suddenly changed from the old powerful to somewhat carefree laughter. The sound of his laughter resonated in the room and Lilith disappear along with the book on the floor.

If it weren’t for the fact I was not in the mood to be jovial, I might have laughed at her. The room was relatively small, its walls lined with hundreds of books. Most of which look old enough to belong to a museum rather than sitting in Lilith’s private miniature library. The smell of dust and decaying paper tickled my nose. Dust motes swirling around before me dancing in the thin beam of light coming from a small solitary window.

LILITH’S POV I sit on the hard floors of the library room again, the day after I’ve been given permission to enter here at will, with my back leaning against the first book shelf I had begun with. It’s a different day and almost 3 hours have passed on the same bookshelf but there’s been no progress. I’m starting to doubt if I can do go through every single shelf in this room. There might be up to a million books in here. I sigh, falling and laying my back against the floors, staring at the white ceiling in front of me.

She gave Elena one last glance then smiled. “Has it been done?” Queen Lilith asked, sliding out her tongue. “Yes…my queen.” Aldmeris said, stepping back to where he was earlier. “Good. Now give me the book of devouring souls.” Queen Lilith said, collecting the dark spell book from Albunuf. She approached Vinix who was already feeling lifeless, smiling at her fate. She asked Aldmeris to hold the book while she enchants loudly with her two hands placed on Vinix's head.

She said and she nodded slowly, twitching her lips. Another day to see the devil. ★ Lilith was walking towards the huge field with Pierce when her eyes caught Lila and blaze together. Her heart shredded into pieces immediately. Does Lila likes him too? She had used Lila's phone to chat with blaze yesterday and they agreed on meeting today on the field. She's supposed to be there, not her! "Lilith, you're behaving strange lately. What wrong?" Pierce asked making her turn away from them. "Nothing!" She shook her head.

Cela remains disappointed. "C'mon. It's not like they bought everything. They just thought of giving the books as Christmas presents apart from the corporate giveaways. You must know that your mother enjoyed your first book so much. Too bad that she passed before the second one is out," Nanny Rita continued. "You've always been loyal to her," Cela said.

I nod motioning to the building, when Gideon comes outside and joins his daughters. "This place is very special, and your grandmother would have wanted us to teach you all about your abilities here," Helena speaks, as she opens the door letting all of us enter the workshop. The main room is dark and crowded, bookshelves full of old books line the walls, and tables are dotted around and are covered in open books, candles, crystals, and herbs. "It is very special," I agree, watching Raven and Liliana drift to the corner of the room towards two large sheets that cover the fountains we spoke of, protecting them from the dust.

She didn’t know much about the supernatural world, but even she had heard whispers of Lilith—a figure of legend, power, and death. Lilith’s eyes gleamed as she took a step closer. “You’ve made quite the mess, haven’t you, little one?” she said, addressing Sasha. “Awakening powers you don’t understand, aligning yourself with mortals who don’t deserve you.” “Leave her alone,” Alex growled, his voice low and dangerous. Lilith laughed, the sound chilling. “Oh, how sweet. The little wolf thinks he can protect her. But you don’t even know what she is, do you?”
