The ridge glows faintly. Lilith steps forward into the field. Her own divine markers flare in response. This time— No violet corruption. Just clean, pale silver threaded with something older. She extends her hand. The two fields meet. Not colliding. Overlapping. There’s a moment— A tremor. The ground dips slightly. Kade tightens his hold on the thread. I reinforce the lattice. Contain. Balance. Instead of amplifying— We dampen. The ridge steadies. The energy stabilizes.

A faint, golden thread of light still danced across her knuckles before dissolving smoothly beneath her skin. "He called me his weapon..." Lilith whispered, her voice trembling as the realization settled over her. "Every day of my life, he told me I was born from his darkness. He told me my mother was weak and died giving birth to a curse..." She looked up at me, tears glistening in her eyes. "Cassian, if this isn't his magic... what am I?" I didn't have the answer. None of us did. But as I looked down into her eyes, feeling the invincible wall of light guarding our bond, my wolf let out a deep, triumphant roar that echoed across the entire fortress.

Kali curled into the corner of the couch, still silent, still staring at nothing. Lilith disappeared into the back room without a word. When she returned, she carried a small velvet pouch. She tipped the flame sapphire into her palm. The stone was the size of a large egg, deep indigo at its core, threaded with veins of silver that caught the firelight and threw it back in soft prisms. It looked ordinary. Until it wasn’t. She crossed the room and held it out to Kora. Kora took it with steady hands. Everyone went still.

Lilith raised her hand and had a hair tie around her wrist. Removing it, she tied her hair into a high ponytail before heading toward Xavier. “Well spoofed, Lilith. But your smell just drained your hard work away,” Xavier uttered, concentrating on his drink in the glass, his striking green eyes consumed by thoughts that made him feel unnerved and furious at the step he shouldn’t have done.

Candles flickered on stone altars, their flames bending toward something in the center. A figure stood there. Lilith. Her hair hung loose, her white dress stained with black smears like ink. She was whispering under her breath, eyes rolled back, hands glowing faintly as she drew strange marks in the air. When she turned, she smiled at me. “Don’t wake him,” she said softly. “Not yet.” “Where’s Griffin?” My voice shook. She didn’t answer. Instead, she reached out and touched one of the symbols hovering midair, and it burst into flame. The heat hit me like a wave, and suddenly, Griffin was there again, on his knees behind her, chains made of shadow coiled around his wrists.

“ I don't actually know . I mean I know it's not hurting to be near you like it was the last time .” Lilith thinks for a moment before she says “Have you tried to use your powers since it came back ?” I think for a moment “ No .” She stands and indicates for me to do the same “ I will chuck small light serges at you use your shield ok .” I nod and get up and move about fifteen feet away “ Ready .” she nods and lets her magic move through her fingers before firing her light ball at me . Letting my powers come forward I pull my shield up with ease but instead of the normal golden glow it also has what looks like black glitter in it .

I said flatly. Lilith snuggled deeper into Lucius's arms, her eyes fixed on me like a snake. "Rhiannon, look!" she squealed, pointing to the back seat. "Lucius had a magic cradle custom-made for me! It's the only one in the world!" I glanced at the cradle. It was carved with intricate spells, absurdly expensive. "It has the most ancient protection wards," Lilith boasted. "It can keep the baby safe even from a werewolf's claws. Lucius said my child deserves the best."

She would quietly let them do as they wished for now so that when she struck later, they would not be able to anticipate the huge blow. "That's easy, though getting the blood will be tricky. I definitely have some tricks up my sleeve," Lilith said meekly, and they nodded. "You know that we don't have much time before the Eclipse festival arrives. How much time do you need to get those things?" Arianna questioned. "Three days is fine. In the meantime, you can keep looking for other evidence to expose her," Lilith said. "Oh my, I just remembered a very crucial fact. Lila, the real Lila, that is, has a large birthmark on the left side of her chest, just a few inches from her left breast," Freya

Lilith entered the room moody and went straight on the bed ignoring their presence. "Lilith, what's wrong." Clyde said walking towards her. "Am.. am fine." Lily immediately hugged him and Continued her sobbing while clyde patted her hair. " What's wrong." Ella said. "I love him too, I do." Lilith said. "Who." Ella said but Clyde signalled to her not to ask her.
