I must have drifted off to sleep again for a while, and when I woke up, I was shocked, utterly speechless. Luna Lily was sitting beside me reading through a binder of some kind. She is stunning, all regal elegance and true grace with her auburn hair tied regally in a chignon and her eyes downcast to a book sitting in her lap. I stir, and she looks up from her book giving me a soft smile as she marks her place and closes the book gently.

Knowing that he saved me from Lily’s snare was all that mattered to me. Lily nodded. She wasn’t done yet, and I could read it from her smiles. “Luna, you are an orphan and a latent omega that was bullied all her life. How do you intend to lead the packwomen when you don’t have what it takes?” She continued. I scoffed. The bitch came prepared. She had it all well planned out. It seemed I didn't pass my message well to her in the morning. I was going to make it clearer for her to understand.

"Also, chocolate? Flowers? Those are things you send to your mate. Or girlfriend. Send it to Lily. Or Sabrina. Is there something else you want to tell me? Though I didn't miss how her eyes softened. Then she said, "Good to know, Alpha. Can I go now?" I didn't reply. Merritt was still on his way out, I'd bet. I didn't want her running into him. He’s going to announce her tomorrow night as the Pack Luna at the ceremony. Well, I still have a few more tricks up my sleeve, let’s see if I can’t stop tomorrow night from happening. There was a bit of silence before he finally spoke. “Okay, Eleanor.” He said and paused. “This is the thing. Understood?” He said. My jaw dropped for a minute as I tried to process all he said, but I could feel his gaze hard on me. I nodded in response. “Good!” He exclaimed softly and added. “I need you to be my pretend Luna.” He informed, his voice colder than before.

Lily said firmly. I pouted lightly at her, but she gave me a pitiful smile in response. It was not every time that Lily acted strict towards me. So, I really couldn’t get offended by her right now. And Lady Anna was right. Since I have not yet been proven to have a hand in the deaths of the family, it would be better to step into my role as Luna for the main time. No one else can do that except me. Lily calmly brought another outfit that was made of gold and pink. It was backless but had a shawl. The whole thing was so breathtaking that I just couldn’t help but swoon at it.

She met gaze with a young girl who would not be more than twenty five. She was beautiful but Lily could see there was something not quite normal with her. “Who are you?” Lily’s throat was dry, making her words come out gravelly. She suddenly remembered, for the second time, she was not in the cell again. She looked round her and saw the cave clearly. The 'young' witch observed the former Luna of Grey Moon pack looking lost and weak. There was the first as well. The story around was that Luna Lily was all beauty but no brain.

He claimed her that very night and married her the next day, without waiting another moment. I actually took a course..." Lily started to ramble like she would when something of interest came up.
