Lily replied with a firm grip and a smile. Turning to face the house, Ella opened the door as she said, "So this is the entrance to the house. As we can see, the living room is really big, enough to allow you to do whatever decorations you want to do and to also take all your furniture." Lily nodded, her expression neutral, as Ella showed them through the house. It took more time than Lily had thought, but she enjoyed every minute of it. "What's in the back?" Lily asked. Ella opened the door to reveal a beautiful mini-garden at the back of the house. It looked really elegant, with enough space to have a swing on one part.

“I met her this morning. She was moving into the Lansing house.” Marvin snorted. “She’s living in that dump? The girl must be hard up; that place is falling apart. She looks too young to be on her own with a baby.” Asher headed back to the front of the store and stared at the crib. “Was it this one?” This one was slightly bigger than the other one, but it also looked to be in better shape. “Yep, that’s the one,” Marvin said. “You gonna buy it for the little lady?”

NYLA The Leclair house had never tried to intimidate anyone. It wasn’t a palace perched on a hill, nor was it one of those grotesque displays of wealth that screamed for validation. A bench made of wood with a carved iron edge.

It was so low, wispy as the surrounding wind, that at first, she thought perhaps she’d just finished the song in her head. “Hello?” She stood in front of a boarded-up house. Dilapidated and partially fallen in on itself, the house reminded her of the Halloween decorations her mother brought out every October. A broken mailbox with the name Pritchet written on it littered the yard along with other scraps. Graffiti across the siding spelled out a word Lily blushed at after reading. There was movement through a broken window on the top floor. “Hello?” she called again. Come in. Come in.

Both smiled at each other with slightly moist eyes, pinkish cheeks and tomato-red noses. They first went to Rosy's room, packed a few things and drove to the house, which suddenly became Lily's. Rosy and Lily's jaws dropped to see the house. It wasn't a mere house, it was a large bungalow with a huge garden. "This is bigger than your house, Lily!" Rosy exclaimed and both walked on the pavement between the beautiful colourful flowers. Lily opened the door and had a small size heart attack. 'Enormous' felt was the apt title for the house.
