I stared at him in complete disbelief, my lips curling into a dry, mocking smile.
“Okay…” I said softly, holding up my hand slowly uncurling my fingers one by one. “1….2…..3….4…5.”
I dropped my hand and locked my eyes onto his, all trace of humor vanishing from my face.
“Five seconds are up, and you still a cheating bastard. Anything else you want to clear up, or can I go on with my day?”
“So you are going to just throw away the years we’ve been together over some stupid misunderstanding?” Leon demanded, his tone turning sour as his fake apologetic act started to crumble.
