Saph asks jokingly, with a wink in her eye. Hours went by and the five of us joked with each other and retold stories. Sage didn’t wake up. I could tell she was listening and would be laughing right along with us if she was awake. As we all laughed and comforted each other, I felt doses of hope building up inside of me. Hope that things will be okay. Hope that he and I will laugh like this soon too. He just needs time.

"I love you." "I love you too." We stood there for a long moment, wrapped in each other's warmth, watching the moon rise. And for the first time in a long time, I felt hope. --- End of Chapter 17

Midnight Neko and I softly stepped towards the entrance of the cave entrance – my second hide away spot that is now occupied by four special individuals. I hear the silent snores of them – poor things must be so tired from all that running. “Neko…fetch…” I whisper to my trusted friend , and he instantly agrees. He enters the cave , a place that I can not see in as their once burning fire is now dim and soon to go off. I hope he is able to retrieve her with out making a drama – and just as I thought it , I hear a loud growl.
