I ask him gently, “The general direction?”
“I’m sorry, I don’t know,” the young man responds, and I feel terrible for bringing up another upsetting question, “I was at lunch at the time. I came back and they told me to redirect everyone away from the scene. I probably shouldn’t be telling you all of this anyway, but, I know who you are. You’re Levi Grant, right?”
I nod, confused. I’m wondering what that has to do with anything.
“You helped my mother, Cynthia.,” he says, “I’m Ron. Sorry, I should have told you. Ron Williams. My mom’s name is Cindy Williams. She was injured by that rogue wolf last year.”
