Ever.” She stepped forward, face flushed. “And you should be ashamed—parading around with Brady like he’s some kind of prize.” Maddie scoffed, cool and unfazed. “You’ve got it all wrong, darling, I just took back what was originally mine.” She said grabbing my hand possessively, and the other hand gently rubbing her stomach.

Ryder spoke out calmly, trying to get me to see reasons. I lost it. "The past?! It happened days ago. And even if it was in the past, do you think I can ever move on from that?!" I paused, staring at all of them before blurting out the words "I, Liv Anderson, reject you all as my mate. I am not interested" "What!" Max snapped. "You really need to think this through Liv" Ryder spoke out immediately. Callum, who seemed indifferent, spoke. "And what are we supposed to do after that information?"

I didn't want to tell Vivian that I was afraid of the possibility that the Triple L were going to be my mate. Turning to face me, Vivian giggled as she said, "You're not the only one so nervous about them. I feel nervous too, so imagine the thought of me living with them. I won't be able to cope. Then we slowly lowered Mr. Higgins' body down on the rug. Aiden covered the body properly with the rug. “Now, I'll—” The front doorbell rings, cutting him off. We shared a glance at each other. “Are you expecting someone?” I asked. Aiden shook his head. “My brother isn't supposed to be here until tomorrow.”

“Where are you?” “Damn it,” I said in frustration. “I have to leave now.” “Please, don’t go, Luna Jade,” said Cherise, clutching my hands tightly. “At least, take Mariah with you if you must leave.” “Mariah? Who’s that?” “Luna Lola’s daughter. She’s in the servant’s nursery where one of us looks after her and the other pups from our pack.” “Where’s Lola?” Cherise sighed heavily. “She died.”
