You were the last one with him. Where is he?” Kai didn't fight back immediately. He didn't even raise his hands to break Liam’s grip. He just stood there, his face a mask of calculated indifference. Kai asked, his voice rich with emotion. "I've heard it a few times, but I won't complain about more praise," I replied, bringing a smile to his lips as he leaned in to kiss me. "Give me some time to think before I mark you as my mate, Leia," Kai requested, his voice a soft whisper against my skin. "Just so you know, I deeply care for you." He planted a tender kiss on my forehead before getting dressed. He left to meet with Xavier, who also needed to be informed about the impending danger. When they all got tired, they brought the thing they bought into Arianne's car and decided to go to the karaoke area of the mall and pay for a room.
