Lockdown Mga Nobela at Kwento

Angel teases her to make her own so her baby will have a playmate soon which Maan replies with a smile. Wednesday evening while Gil and Maan were having dinner, the tv program that they were watching was suddenly interrupted with an announcement from the president. “The lock down that is currently enforced in the country is temporarily suspended until further notice starting the first of May. Certain establishments are allowed to resume operations with a limited number of customers observing proper health protocols. Travel is now allowed provided that they subject themselves to a 14-day quarantine before interacting with others. Churches, Malls and restaurants are allowed to operate with at

"Tonight is about survival. Getting through the blood moon without injuries, without destroyed relationships, without tragedy we'll spend months recovering from. That means following lockdown protocols even when every instinct screams to ignore them. That means trusting faculty and security even when you want to handle things yourselves. That means putting safety above pride." "What about those of us who need to run?" an Alpha asked. "You can't keep us locked up during totality." "Supervised running in designated areas will be available in shifts. Sign up with your house monitor. But unsupervised activity in the forest or restricted areas will result in immedi

"Looks like we're both stuck here until the storm passes." Both stuck? "What do you mean both?" "The main doors are locked too. I came back for my jacket and got trapped when the lockdown started." Great. I was wearing his jacket, trapped in a storage room, while he was locked in the gym looking for it. This night kept getting better. "How long do these lockdowns usually last?" I asked. "No idea. I've never been here during one." I closed my eyes and pressed my forehead against the door. "This is not happening."

But the unease stayed, quiet but constant, like the buzz under a faulty light. Paolo, my right-hand man, sat to my left, pretending to read a report. He caught my glance, lowered his eyes. He could feel it too, the weight in the room that didn’t belong to business. The clock hit noon. I opened my mouth to dismiss the meeting when the door burst open. One of my men stood there, chest heaving. “Sir,” he said, voice tight. “Lockdown. The house just sealed itself.” For a second, the words didn’t register. Then the sound around me faded, the chatter, the shuffle of papers, the hum of the air conditioning until all I could hear was the rush of blood in my ears.

“And they crossed the wrong line.” He raised his radio. “Full lockdown. All properties. I want every port sealed—boats grounded, manifests frozen. Tap every camera in the city. Flag every known DeLuca contact, burner, cousin, dog, bartender. No one moves without my say-so.” A chorus of confirmations crackled back. “Effective immediately,” he continued, eyes dark. “This is no longer business. This is retrieval.” He lowered the radio and turned back. Nico and Lorenzo had stepped forward at the same time.

“Alex?” “Yeah, it’s me,” I replied, keeping my voice steady. “How are you, man?” I asked. “Still in one piece, if that’s what you mean. How about you? How’s the pack holding up?” Anton asked. “We’re on lockdown,” I said, my voice heavy with frustration. “No one’s allowed to leave. Security has been tightened since after the attack.” I responded. There was a pause on the other end. “Yeah, that makes sense, given what happened. They’re probably just trying to prevent another ambush.” Anton said.

No more sound came from him. From that day on, Crimson Hollow descended into complete chaos. The plague spread like wildfire. More and more people died. To prevent anyone from fleeing and spreading the infection to other regions, a final decision was made— Lockdown. But what they sealed off wasn’t just a city. They sealed off hope. From the moment lockdown began, countless people went mad trying to escape. They drove recklessly, desperate to get out. Staying meant almost certain death. Fleeing, maybe… just maybe, there was still a chance.

"Knox hasn't been back to check your bandages." "Knox is busy," Ryker said, closing the laptop and tossing it aside. "He is currently ensuring that Bellanti’s top enforcer won't be using his hands to hold a weapon ever again. I’ve ordered a full lockdown. Nobody leaves, nobody enters, and the staff is being vetted for loyalty." I felt a surge of nausea. "You're turning this place into a prison."

My expression remained impassive as I looked at the milk cartons that Hannah was holding. I could tell at a glance that they were the discounted ones that were close to their expiry dates from the grocery store downstairs. The sales assistants were constantly trying to sell them off whenever I passed by the store. I unlocked my apartment door and placed my groceries on the cabinet. At the same time, I shoved my foot against the door and prevented Hannah and Thomas from entering. "You have something to say to me, don't you? Out with it."
