They sat in the car in silence, and MJ’s grip on the steering wheel tightened as the distant sound of music could be heard from outside.
“She’s a good girl, you know?” Lolitta said.
MJ sighed and let go of the steering wheel. “That’s what I thought.” She muttered under her breath and stared outside the window, watching people and cars move up and down.
“She’s a nice kid, she just happened to be raised in a fucked up family; well, if you remove her and Zoe." Lola sighed and ran a hand through her brown curls, and then she turned to focus her brown eyes on MJ. "She smokes, swears, parties, and looks all badass, but if you look into her eyes, you will realize that she's not just beautiful on th
