Annabelle was listening to something with her ear buds, Mason was typing away on his phone, no doubt, as ploy to drown out Ashley's voice. I took one of Annabelle's ear buds and put in my ear. She didn't budge or complain like most people would. The song playing wasn't one I was familiar with but it sounded nice. "What song is this?" I asked her when the song ended. "That's 'fire' by BTS. It's my favorite of all their songs", she replied, still looking at her phone. I had heard of those BTS boys but had never really paid attention to them. Maybe I'd check them out later.
