Then her phone started to ring. The tune sounded so familiar and when the singer started to sing, I immediately recognized the song. It was Life Goes On By BTS. My eyes widened in amazement. She listens to K-pop, I mused. Finally, something to talk about. She declined the call and dropped her phone back on the table to finish her food. She continued to hum the song even after declining the call.

After staying behind for a few minutes more and realizing the fact that the competition had already gone a long way before I had gotten to it, which made it really hard to grasp and understand, I changed the channel and headed back to the channel showing music videos. A video was showing a bunch of boys singing in a language that wasn’t English. I didn’t mind the fact that it wasn’t in English because the song was still sounding so good. The name ‘BTS’ showed up at the end of the video as the boy band’s name and I promised myself I was going to look them up tonight before going to bed.

Annalise looked at his retreating back with a small smile and shifted her gaze ahead before pulling her phone out from the jacket pocket and began scrolling through her I*******m. Like every other k-pop fan, she had her I*******m feed filled with all k-pop artists. She scrolled down the posts before coming to halt and swooning over Jungkook and Suga. How she had wished several times that they’d marry her but turns out, they don’t even know she exists. They were the hottest men she had seen. She would do anything to actually touch them. Even frame her hand and not wash it, if one of them or anyone one from BTS toucher her hand as a matter of fact. Jokes apart, she actually loved them.
