Look Up Books In Library Novels & Stories

I stood up after taking a large gulp of water, grabbing my books. "Where are you going?" Adele questioned. I glanced at my roommate. The new information she had given me was swirling in my mind, and I needed to think. "To the library," I told Adele. "But–" I did not wait to hear the rest of Adele's protest before turning on my heels. The library looked like some sort of dome, I noticed as I made my way in. Books lined the shelves in different categories. I reached for the shelves tagged Spell Books on Curses and took out one that caught my eye.

Then slowly, he said, “In that case you could start looking for inspiration somewhere with lots of interesting covers.” I frowned slightly. “Where?” “The library,” he said firmly. “You told me yourself back in college, you loved spending time there. There are so many books with different cover styles. You can browse. See what fits the theme of your book. You don’t have to find a model right away. Maybe you just need inspiration.” The library. The word echoed warmly in my mind. Old memories stirred gently wide quiet spaces, the scent of aged paper, the soft sound of pages turning, endless rows of books.

I picked some by lunchtime, then finished searching for them and grabbed some to check before I went to sleep. I spent the afternoon sitting and trying to plot everything on a timeline so I could maybe try and do some research later on about the changes that happened to me. I knew googling would not be very helpful and would most probably only lead me to conspiracy websites or fiction novels so that was out. I also didn't know if there was a library in town or even the next town over where I could maybe go and see if they don't perhaps have any books that would be helpful. The problem now is thinking of the best way to ask the librarian for help finding books in such a way that she doesn't want to send me to the Looney Bin.
