I watch as the little blue circle in the center of the screen circles around and around, before only one book shows up on the screen. It is a children’s fictional book call The Werewolf and the Witch, and it is checked out. I blow out a deep breath and tap my long nails on the desk beside me. Tessa and Alex both nod. "Should I help you?" Alex asks. "No, I'll look for it myself. You guys wait for me here." I say and walk out of the cube in search of my darling book. Now, in usual instances I read up online or order a book online. But this place is far from being usual and online book delivery is not an option. And the vast this library is, I doubt if any book is not available here. Hence I walk towards one of the shelves behind our cube and look for any suitable title. A book catches my eye and I pull it out.

"I'll be right here." I get up and wander toward the book sections. The library is organized by subject, with fiction on one side and non-fiction on the other. I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, so I just start walking through the aisles, letting my eyes scan the shelves. I pass through the science section, then the history section, then literature. Nothing really grabs my attention until I reach the yearbook section. As I'm browsing through the section, one particular book catches my eye. It's a black book, smaller than most of the others on the shelf, and something about it draws me toward it.
