Catherine finished up her work by placing a gauze over the wound, then wrapping a bandage across his shoulder and chest to keep it in place. Once she had finished, she took a second to admire her handy work and then gave a nod in his direction. "Alpha." She acknowledged. She turned her gaze to me and gave a similar nod "Luna." She recognised. Without another word she exited the tent. Alpha Bain gaze had not left mine the entire time. It was as though we were trapped there. Both silent acknowledging so many unspoken words. I finally moved from the sofa. Standing up I walked over to him, clearing the space between us. It was as though my body was moving on its own accord.

Maybe hugging Collin had been a bad move. "I am sorry for those incidents but I wish to talk about Red Blood, King to King" Collin spares Austin a glance before resuming looking to Clyde. He's got the power and the strength to say no and risk a fight. Collin is defenceless, with only two men behind him. Even they don't seem happy about me hugging Collin. We make it downstairs, through the front door to the training ground. We find Thomas, Zack, Leo and Lugh already waiting for us. Brett walks up to Lugh and gives him a punch in the face as a greeting. “Prick. Stay away from her!” Lugh rubs his jaw line soothing the freshly red wound. “What did I do?” Lugh says getting up off the ground. “You kissed Willow.” Brett growls.

Not in any way that will not break Charlene even more. “Where are we— I was in the forest— with Adhler. Right! Did you save him too? We were trapped,” “It was all your hallucinations because of a monster that attacked you, Charlene,” Ellis filtered her words. She thought it would not be good to inform Charlene that Adhler is set to be married to his chosen Luna, the current Queen of the Lycans— Laura, in a week now. “I see,” Charlene calmly replied. “Professor… did you… did you inform my fam… my family that I am with you,” Charlene asked without looking into the professor’s eyes. Ellis stared at her as Charlene stared at the ceiling above.

Without a change in expression, she put her phone back and pulled her collar higher. Oliver had already left, but when he returned, he thoughtfully handed her a tube of concealer. "Don't worry. I've already asked my girlfriend. She said this one works really well," Oliver said. Noelle rolled her eyes but still took the concealer from him. "I also heard some gossip earlier," Oliver continued. "What gossip?" "Lana announced her breakup with Mr. Freeman. It's all over Twitter." "Oh." Noelle's response was calm, showing no sign of surprise.

Luna responded and clicked the line dead. A few minutes later Luna sat in front of her camera all dressed up and looking dazzling she smiled and began her speech “My attention has been drawn to some information circulating on the media about me and Cole and Cole’s wife Brittany, honestly… There are few things I’d like to say” she cleared her throat and adjusted her camera well.

I shook my head. “True. But when you let me in, there were tells. And to save you the trouble of trying to figure them out, I’ll list them. You both looked like you’d just been kissing, lips a little puffy and hair slightly messed up. Not to mention the not-so-subtle tents you both were sporting in your pants.” Collin grinned. I groaned, smacking my hand to my face. “Congrats, though. Your brothers and parents are going to be so excited to hear you finally found your mate. And an Alpha to boot. Can I be the first to call you Luna Darren?” Collin smirked.

He was about to leave when heard footsteps. He cast a glance over his shoulder. He was shocked to see Lorenzo striding towards him They both sucked in a deep breath and directed their gaze at the moving vehicles Before Lorenzo could say a word, Collin cut in.. “She broke up with me…” He mumbled, his voice filled with emotions Lorenzo took his gaze at him, an unreadable expression on his face. “I knew she wasn't happy when she found out about the stuff you're into…” Lorenzo muttered, tapping Collin's shoulder.
