Dante sat in a wheelchair, staring dead at the TV screen on the wall. On the screen, the woman who used to revolve around him, whom he had tossed aside like a worn-out shoe, was smiling so brightly. It was a kind of genuine happiness he had never seen before. "Damn it... Damn it!" Trembling, he grabbed the remote control at his hand and smashed it hard against the screen.
