Erebus - Summer of 1800 - Lion Island The massive full moon is bright in the sky, illuminating my path. I stop to breathe, finally arriving at the White Plains of Lion Island. It’s a breezy night making sand whip around, and the smell of the saltwater ocean is crisp on my senses. I look around to make sure no one is following us. They can’t track me by scent as I have none. Seeing it all clear, I’m satisfied I can pause for a minute to rest.

Ella replied. “But the cruises or ships arrive here only once every several years. It is a marooned island of werewolves. Occasionally, few humans come to visit the island. We werewolves have our own boundaries, and we try not to intrude into human habitation, and that is the reason that we don’t have our own ships and cruises to move outside this island.” The chauffeur said. Alpha Gabriel got annoyed as the chauffeur seemed to speak a lot, according to him. He didn’t like speaking much. He preferred to speak only when required. He looked scornfully at the chauffeur, who kept his mouth shut immediately. He knew how short-tempered the Alpha was.

Sebastian hummed in acknowledgement. Luna decided to continue. “The name of the island is Hon Hai Island. We weren't able to uncover much about the island because it's quite remote and uninhabited. However, Dr. Voss promised to reach out to a friend of his who is a travel blogger and cartographer. This friend should be able to give us more information about this barren piece of land.” She concluded. Sebastian hummed again. “You look worried, Sebastian. Is there a problem?” Sebastian gave her a wry smile and ran a hand through his hair, pacing slightly.

Of course, you are.” The ride continued in thick silence until the island finally came into view a lush stretch of land surrounded by crystal-clear water, with a small pier extending into the ocean. The place was remote, untouched, and exactly what they needed to check out for the project. As the boat docked, Eloise grabbed her bag and stepped onto the wooden planks, feeling a sense of relief just being on solid ground again.
