She noticed horses grazing on the far corner and a horse shed a little farther away from there. "Is it a horse ranch?" she wondered. Lola roamed all over the place only to find out that they are on an island. Apart from the mansion, she woke up that morning and the horse shed, there is no other construction on the entire island. There are huge trees with some wilder life past the ranch. She and her kidnapper are the only two people on the island, which made her sad. She tried to use her magic, but to her confusion and frustration, her magic is not working on the island. Lola is tired and frustrated.

The elderly man leading them stepped forward and said, “Yes, this is the token of the island leader. I am Milo Fort, the administrator of Lumia Isle. Greetings, sir.” Adrian nodded and said, “I am Mr. Donnelly. From today onward, I am the leader of this island. Tell me about the situation here.” Milo, a bit hesitant, replied, “Yes, sir. Lumia Isle is a small island, but it is twice as large as the usual small islands, covering an area of about 78 square kilometers. There are around ten thousand mortals living here.”

With a flick of my hand, the vines disappeared and was replaced with moss covered roots of the trees that extend up in the sky – our surroundings glowing green in the sunlight as the leaves blocked the light. A bird whistled in the distance , the fluttering of wings startling Rubin making her lean closer to me. I waved my hands once again and make the gentle breeze shake the leaves, showering us with everlasting rain. “Welcome to Lakhowt Island – where the rain never stops.” Rubin held out her hand to catch the rain drops, smiling so wide. Her eyes were lit with that crazy excitement and before I could prepare myself, I was knocked over, her arms around me.

He must give to collect. “The island is called Lyria.” He says finally. “You probably have not heard of it, it should be off the map in the Outside world.” That tickles a memory. “Did you say Lyria?” I say, remembering seeing that on a map. Lor. He was showing me the island that he and his men have been searching ages for. No way. “By any chance, is this island off the map because it is floating and invisible?” I ask nonchalantly and his brows rise.

Each day, she woke up to stunning sunrises and spent her mornings practicing yoga on the beach, embracing the serenity and peace that the islands offered. One day, Luna embarked on a kayaking adventure to explore the hidden coves and secret lagoons of the islands. Paddling through crystal-clear waters, she discovered secluded beaches accessible only by boat and marveled at the limestone caves adorned with intricate stalactites and stalagmites. Luna felt a deep connection to nature as she navigated through the calm waters, and she realized the importance of preserving these fragile ecosystems for future generations to enjoy.

A moment later, a logo popped up, along with the words “The Island.” A British male voice started speaking, but the camera didn’t show the narrator. Instead, it showed scenes that looked like something out of a hunting show to start with. As I listened to the narrator recapping the last episode, one of the images featured a slightly overweight man grappling with a shorter black woman. He held her down, forcing her onto all fours before climbing on top of her.

“But how do they buy them?” Dakar chortled and said “They actually steal them from stalls by the beach. They're very good at it, especially with their merfriends” “Merfriends?” “Two mermen. They're very mischievous” “Wow. This is all too much to take in. Feels so unrealistic” “Yeah. Nice dress though. Fits you perfectly” “You knew I was coming, right? Avalyn POV The following days after the dinner, Soren was in the house more often than before. However, he still seemed to be working in the study or on phone calls most of the time.
